Who won what, Monday 24th August

Good morning.

Just a week or so after we were all boiling to bits in all that heat & humidity, Storm Francis has arrived, & it's heavy rain & gales forecast right across the UK. The variety & speed of change of the weather in this part of the world is truly wonderful.

Traffic last night was so-so, though once again Mega Stack was the outlier, missing by a huge £300. "huge" is relative of course, but on a £1,500 Guarantee, that's huge in my book.

£1,000 BH £1,000

£8,000 Marksman Main £8,790

£2,000 Marrksman Mini £2,005

£1,500 Turbo £1,500

£2,500 Sheriff £2,500

£2,000 Turbo £2,000

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,500

£1,540 Mid Ex £1,540

    £2,000 Mini Marksman (£2005)

    peggy2103 featured in the Results Threads GaryQQQ used to do, mainly around 2013, 7 years ago, so I don't know where's he's been since, but he's back in the winners enclosure.

    Runner-up was sumogaz, who won a UKOPS a year or two back.

    Third was Ilovebats, which gives him chiroping rights. Do I win "Worst Pun of the Year" for that purler?

    Remarkably, this went to Jac35, & even more remarkably he somehow beat Braycorp83, a proper player, to win it. The wonders of poker, eh?

    Notably, it's not the first time Jac35 & RogueCell have shared a Final Table, have a look at this blast from the past

    rankers has made a handful of headline MTT's this year but this was his first win as far as I can see.

    StayOrGo, who won the opener, was 2nd, with Gambelo 3rd.

    In 6th was Dooooobs, who knows how to call a bluff, as we saw in the Bots thread yesterday.

    @rankers 320000 1 £384.80 + £234.07 Head Prizes 8

    Monty15, 4th in Sheriff an hour or so earlier, took the top spot in a very strong FT. Runner-up skyflyer made no less than three FT's on Saturday, & WSOP bracelet winner f3nix35 was 3rd.

    In 4th, tonyp142 held off Gambelo, with Tedson, 2nd in the same event a week ago, in 6th.

    Winner Richrash93 is going along nicely, he won Gold Rush Main earlier this month.

    In 2nd was darsh11, who devotes 90% of his play to DYM's but wins more money playing MTT's if Sharky is accurate. That's a little unfair actually, as high volume DYM-ers make a lot of their money via Rewards Payments, but it's interesting all the same. Arguably.

    @Richrash93 231000 1 £223.30 + £241.66 Head Prizes 14

    @darsh11 0 2 £146.30 + £24.38 Head Prizes 3

    If you search on You Tube, you might easily find 100 different versions of Eric Clapton playing "Cocaine", but you won't find a better version than this.

    Paul Carrack is on keyboards, so he's merely a sideman here, which is well gangsta if you think about it.
