Who won what, Tuesday September 22nd, including Final Table Jackpot winner

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,723

Morning.

Grim news from the Government yesterday, & it seems like we have a testing winter ahead. I don't think the Government have handled this well, but they can't be blamed for Team I Refuse To Wear A Mask who are being incredibly selfish. If we all followed the guidelines this thing would be history now. We all abhor wearing a mask, but it has to be done & I'm pretty sure masks are less uncomfortable than ventilators or coffins.

Meanwhile, in contrast to the virus news, it was a cheerful night at Sky Poker, with much better numbers right across the board. All 8 Headline MTT's covered, most with a good bit to spare, & for the icing on the cake we had a Final Table Jackpot winner too.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,100)

    A nice little nest egg went the way of sparrow74, who I believe is new here, certainly I can find no previous mentions.

    Big-hitters destinycod & chrisdonkb were 3rd & 5th.

    The recently returned @68Trebor just missed the FT.

    £6,000 Gold Rush (£7,350)

    Mean Machine was well overdue a big win. He's been relatively quiet of late, his best scores in the last month being two Turbo wins, one a month ago to the day, the other a fortnight back. The 2 Turbo wins combined were worth £1,100, & he collected almost £1,500 last night, so I daresay he is not starving.

    In 3rd was bluecall07, who finished in the same position in the Mini & so earned himself £500 from the Sky Poker Final Table Jackpot kitty.

    Exactly a week after finishing 6th in Mega, Jeni82 powered to 4th in the Main, which is a big step up & a terrific result.

    Shrimpy is running back into form, he won Mega on Sunday night then ran 5th in last night's Main.

    @The_Chris 0 2 £589.10 + £79.45 Head Prizes 6

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,520)

    MynaFrett winning the Mini will be a hugely popular result.

    In 3rd was bluecall07, completing the 2nd leg of his FTJ which earned him a £500 bonus.

    cabbaz was 4th, and it's worth noting that Anton112 could only finish 5th despite taking 20 head prizes.

    This was the £22 entry Mega Stack, but it had a tougher FT than many £110 MTT's.

    Summit, which made good money last night, went to railtard, & the HU battle between him & destinycod will have been a good but probably brief watch.

    Melty, fishhhh & railtard were 3rd, 4th & 5th, so it was another seriously hot FT.

    I was completely oblivious to @bluecall07 being on for a final table jackpot, well played.

    @MynaFrett

    It would be an interesting situation if you had known exactly what the score is. I'm sure you'd have played exactly the same anyway, but it is a fascinating spot.

    It has the potential to create a fascinating dynamic. If you are aware of the situation at final 2 tables then you can absolutely put the player to the sword as your fold equity is going to be massively increased compared to a regular late game scenario. It may have less of an impact at the FT but the player will clearly be incentivised to 'ladder' to a much greater extent than everyone else...

    @MynaFrett

    Exactly my point. All sorts of weird dynamics going off there.

    Nicely done @MynaFrett. Just try not to keep going on about it in the chat box at the tables tonight ;)
