Who won what, Tuesday October 13th

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,129

Good morning.

The sun is shining this morning, last night's traffic was good, UKOPS is a few weeks away & Christmas is on the horizon. How good can life get? Ahh, I forgot COVID.

Decent numbers all round last night, especially pleasing on a Tuesday when the £6,000 Summit runs. Only the Mega let the side down, & that was by a mere single entry.

£1,000 BG £1,080

£6,000 Gold Rush Main £7,500

£2,000 Gold Rush Mini £2,380

£1,000 Megastack £1,000

£6,000 Summit £7,100

£1,500 Turbo £1,650

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,200

£1,000 Mid Ex £1,320

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,080)

    harry18110 twice made the FT of 7 @ 7 in the last 2 months but this was his first big score in a while, so well done him.

    Growly Regi, who has won a legion of fans with his charity efforts was 5th. Deep down I suspect he is a big softie, but don't tell him that or you'll start him off.

    £6,000 Gold Rush (£7,500)

    Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? steve14710, "lightly raced" as they say in the horse racing world, won a £3.60 satellite to the Main & emerged several hours later with close to £1,200 in his pocket. Decent ROI, that.

    4th was Claytov, 6th Smevy, with 5ausages sandwiched between them in 5th.

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,380)

    In the last 3 months mmmpizza has finished 4th, 3rd & 2nd in the Mini, so I'm sure nobody will begrudge him winning it last night. We just need him to finish 5th & 6th now for the full six slices.

    A fine effort by @MISTY4Me in 4th, ahead of hotshots heddoh & BlairRied.

    £6,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£7,100)

    A few days ago fishhhhh informed us that to play the entire upcoming UKOPs would cost a minimum of £3,401 & he was assembling his ammunition for a shot at it. In winning last night's Summit he won enough to pay for over half of all UKOPS buy-ins.

    Worth noting though that he won the Sunday Major twice in 3 weeks in September, earning over £4,000 each time, so I think he'll manage.

    I had a quick shufty at his bigger results in the last 6 months & it's eye-watering - he has wins in Sunday Major (2), Main (2), Turbo (4), Sheriff (3), Summit, Quickdraw & Mega. Mightily impressive stuff. He only needs to win Mini & Mid Ex for the full set. Watch this space.

    2nd was Arrogant, with miniman88 (remember him?) in 4th.

    @fishhhhh 355000 1 £1313.50 + £596.27 Head Prizes 6

    @Arrogant 0 2 £781 + £393.74 Head Prizes 6

    @ValueJL 0 3 £532.50 + £232.62 Head Prizes 4

    @miniman88 0 4 £390.50 + £229.69 Head Prizes 4

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,200)

    Doooobs is another preparing for an assault on Mount UKOPS. He played 6 of the 8 featured MTT's last night & took an early bath or two along the way but Quickdraw was his Getting Out Stakes. He had to overcome StayOrGo heads up, and I doubt either realised they both live in the same part of the world & in fact might be almost neighbours.

    @Doooobs 120000 1 £300 + £269.52 Head Prizes 7

    @StayOrGo 0 2 £180 + £110.16 Head Prizes 5

    No comment on the winner as I know nothing about him at all.

    4th was mossthebos with loosecamel 6th which may give him some material for his current diary.

    UKOPS Rewards Freeroll (876 entries)

    This is terrific, NOSTRI ran 2nd & in doing so won Free Entry into the Big Boys High Roller on the first Sunday of UKOPS. He has an army of fans from his time helping run MML with that other bloke (sorry, forgotten his name) & I'm hoping he'll have a noisy & enthusiastic rail on the night. Given a fair run of luck I think he might just enjoy a deep run, too.

    @NOSTRI 0 2 £30 + UKOPS 14 £15,000 High Roller B/Hunter

    I'm 6 parts softie, 4 parts bellend and working on improving that. The question is, which of those numbers increasing would I consider to be an improvement :smile:

    From the comment section I think @destinycod may have enjoyed my victory as much as me (well, more so @Arrogant 's loss!)
