Player Notes

Hi all,

I always take notes on players while playing online, but one thing I have yet to exploit is the colour options. Would be keen to get some insight on how you categorise these colours.

It seems to me the most logical way to use colours is to provide instant information about playing style. e.g. pro/rookie, loose/tight, aggro/passive etc. However, that is a lot of variables to combine when there are only six colours to choose from on Sky.

How do you manage this? What is your labelling system?

I imagine most people have me set to green :|

    Recently decided there was not much use having orange for 'strong reg' and red for 'very strong reg' so changed red to 'nit'.

    Still not used to it and keep spilling my drink when I join a 1r and see red tags there!

    Think colour tags are super useful though - don't really have time to read all the notes on the fly so just have a quick look if in a pot with that player.

    I go for this: Pink- Loose agressive (barmy)
    Red- Tight agressive (standard)
    Yellow - Loose passive (limpalot)
    Blue - Tight Tight (nit)

    Interesting and wide range of labels. I'm thinking something along the lines of;

    Red = Effing Good
    Purple = Loose Aggro
    Orange = Tight Aggro
    Yellow = Tight
    Green = Rubbish/Face Up
    Blue = Crazy

    Red= Top reg
    Yellow= Decent reg
    Blue= Any 'reg' who wins money but has significant exploitable leaks (this is the tag where the note actually matters the most)
    Green= Nit fish
    Purple= Aggro fish
