Who won what, Wednesday 25th November

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,128

Morning.

Traffic was about where expected last night, except for two outliers - the 7.30pm £1k BH made £1,500 - the most it's made in ages - and the new format Quicky came in at £1,580, it's lowest number yet. Maybe everyone was watching the thrill-a-minute 0-0 draw between Bristol City & Watford. Or maybe not. More likely they were mesmerised by Ronnie O@Sullivan who achieved a splendid bagel in the UK Championship.

For any USA-phobes who happen to be reading - Happy Thanksgiving.

£1,000 BH £1,500

£6,000 Predator Main £8,010

£2,000 Predator Mini £2,065

£1,000 Mega £1,360

£2,000 Sheriff £2,250

£1,500 Turbo £1,620

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,580

£1,000 MidEx £1,460

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Dlow21 took this, 2 months & a day since he last won it, he also ran 2nd in it in August. Big result for him, he's modestly rated on Sharky so this will have meant a great deal to him. He had a 7 @ 7 FT earlier this month too.

    @Dlow21 225000 1 £217.50 + £180.53 Head Prizes 9

    @coxy32 0 2 £142.50 + £51.82 Head Prizes 4

    @Jessieak 0 3 £88.12 + £60.48 Head Prizes 6

    @chicknMelt 0 4 £71.25 + £37.50 Head Prizes 5

    @IMAF1SH 0 5 £58.12 + £35.15 Head Prizes 3

    £6,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£8,010)

    This was a big step up for Baba_TJs. He plays quite big & has had a few nice FT's including Summit, but this was far & away his best score as far as I can see.

    SenorBegs, who went on to take down Turbo later in the evening, was 2nd.

    Allan23's increasingly frequent forays to play with the Big Boys has been very successful in November, this was the 2nd time he has run 3rd in a Main in the month, & he won UKOPS 23 too.

    @Baba_TJs 1335000 1 £1075.74 + £459.75 Head Prizes 14

    @SenorBegs 0 2 £642 + £95.24 Head Prizes 3

    @Allan23 0 3 £382.88 + £106.61 Head Prizes 5

    £2,000 Mini Predator (£2,065)

    The last week or so has seen Froozle suffering from2nd & 3rd-itis - 2nd in Main, Sheriff, Turbo & Mid Ex, 3rd in Sheriff & Turbo. The monkey is off his back now though, taking down the 413 runner Mini.

    @Froozle 826000 1 £258.12 + £76.72 Head Prizes 7

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,360)

    The last 6 MTT's for 147111 have included been 4 Freerolls & a £1.10 entry Rebuy over a 4 day period, but he stepped up a gear last night & took Mega for £268.

    3rd was StayOrGo, with Carl, aka Hotwheals making a splendid third. Carl is well known to many of us & faces incredible challenges in life which he seems to accept cheerfully. This is a man who knows what a real bad beat is. Proper boss.

    @147111 680000 1 £204 + £64.03 Head Prizes 2

    A third Featured MTT victory in November for adamisere, Turbo, Mid Ex & now Sheriff.

    Tough podium this, with Melty & The Bates occupying the lower steps.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,620)

    Another quality podium, with 2 of the top three having 90+ Sharky ratings.

    In 4th was BRADERS11, who has had quite the week, with wins in Mini UKOPS & 7 @ 7, & FT's in Turbo, Mid Ex, Quicky & Main.

    6th was 4666, who I hope is named after a GWR Pannier Tank, a sentence which will make no sense unless you are a railway nerd.

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£1,580)

    Quicky went to JD2012.

    After Stoke were thumped at home on Tuesday MAXALLY needed a boost & 2nd in Quicky was just the job, though he did it the hard way taking just a single bounty.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,460)

    A quick peruse of my Twitter feed this morning told me this result, as Scott always posts his wins there. Having a little chirp is part & parcel of poker & we all do it, though I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to post it on Twitter where it can be a little toxic at times.

    @AKAscotty 219000 1 £211.70 + £207.08 Head Prizes 11

    @BATCHLCFC 0 2 £138.70 + £19.81 Head Prizes 2

    Thanks Tikay

    I use my Twitter just for Poker, my own little hall of fame, The wins dont come along that often as I would like,so it's nice to have the visual memory there to see

    luckily I have never run into anything toxic, but that's probably because i'm one of the good guys....... :smiley:
