    £6,000 Bounty Hunter (£9,990)

I don't watch too many Finals from start to finish but I made an exception here & it was a belter.

Keith (goldnballz) was a little unfortunate when he ran a big bluff with Q-10 on a K high board but Craig was not buying & called with 10-10. In the context of the game it was a stunning call.

For NOSTRI it must have felt odd to be in that sort of no-mans land between ecstatic for having his best ever result on Sky Poker & disappointment he could not close it out. Poker players are never completely happy, are we? Quite why he chose to play a £33 affair I don't know, especially when he's been running thin lately. He usually focuses on lower stuff, £5, £10, that sort of thing. It was only his 9th £33er of 2021, but his timing was impeccable & he came up with a splendid result.

For Craig, it was not his biggest result - those both came in UKOPS High Rollers which he finalled but did not win - but it was his 2nd Featured MTT win of 2021, as he took down the Mini on 5th January. I have no idea what his particular NLH skills are but he's nothing if not resilient, & he battled back repeatedly.

Quick shoutout to Jac35, better known for his DYM skills, who had a deep run in 12th.

Well done all round. Don't you just love poker?

    £15,000 Sunday Major (£18,700)

I know very little about Smevy, except that he was 3rd in Friday's £8,000 BWBH, won an SPT Online seat on Saturday, and then went and won last night's Sunday Major for a very handsome £5,049.

In 2nd was gadgerno1 who has been intermittently AWOL & only returned a few weeks ago. Since then he's won a Sheriff, finished 2nd in Avenger Main, & now 2nd in the Major.

4th was penguy, who has finalled a couple of Turbos this year.

chrisdonkb had his best result of 2021, while Tony509, who finalled Marksman last week, was 6th.

    £2,500 Mini Major (£2,750)

OldTimer99 won his third & easily biggest £11 MTT in two weeks in taking down Mini Major.

eon1961 looked home & hosed with a big chip lead but somewhere along the line the wheels came off for the PLO8 DYM champ.

Great to see hursty back here & getting a few results. In the unlikely event he reads this I hope he pops up & says hi, he has a lot of friends here from way back in the day.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,860)

ADAJ mostly plays HU Hypers from £20 to as big as they come but made a rare & successful foray into MTT's last night & took down the Mega.

Swog is on the tear in 2021, having already won a Mini & been 3rd in a Main.

loosecamel, who won the Main 2 weeks back, was 4th & has now been 2nd, 4th & 6th in Mega this year. Odd numbers next.

    £2,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,730)

Turbo went to DivsDreams, who puts in huge volume, probably averages 70 or 80 games per day. Most of them are satellites - does anyone on Sky Poker play more satellites than Divs Dreams? Seems to make a good few bob too.

In 5th was Baboon26, who has been on a mini-downswing for a week or so, but hopefully he's turned the corner now.

Today's Player of the Day is a real tough one, so many great performances last night.

This thread has been particularly mean to @NOSTRI of late, so I think he deserves it. He devised, operated & ran MML which was the best thread on the Forum in 2020 & earned him a legion of fans. He was playing way above his ABI last night too, so that made his result all the more impressive. He's been on a nasty little downswing too. He was also wholly respectful to Craig throughout a fierce heads up battle despite being outplayed.

Notwithstanding all that, it was such a hard-fought win by craigcu12, so our player of the day, & thoroughly deserved, is.....

    @craigcu12

Thanks for all the praise and I have to say a well done to nostri in that HU at the end.

I must admit, my run in this MTT felt like my best performance yet, in past MTTs I would have snap folded that TT on river and it's proud to see me getting out of those tight shoes.
The best part about calls like that is my nutted hands will be getting more value and I no longer allow players to over bluff me.

Just like to offer hope out there to the lesser lights and more recreational players out there like me that once in every while if the cards run right for you, you can mix it with the big boys!

I've been pretty absent for quite a while and played very little poker as I started a new job 3-4 months ago and have been working long hours, and it's nights so really limits what I can play! Also, having had a pretty decent run around the first lockdown I then went on a real nosedive in form and confidence and with added worries with the Mrs being self employed and not earning there was bits of stress too so the break has probably done me good...getting the new job though and easily earning 10k a year more than my last job has really lifted the pressures and I'm back in a really good place.

I've always been more of a horse racing fan and funnily enough it's been exactly the same story there...had rotten luck for months and months then the last week or two I just can't stop backing winners!

Anyway...with the healthier balance from a good run on the horses...and tying in with a 9 day holiday break...my first in 4 months...I decided to have a few games last night...few dym's...couple of low price bountys without much luck, then saw the quickdraw and thought why not, lets give it a shot...first ever try and up against some star studded names and managed to end up 2nd for a cash of £478...had plenty of luck, but I'll take it!

Definitely should have been an Honourable Mention in POTD.
