    2nd was Arrogant, who went on to have a very solid session, as we shall later see.

    £8,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£12,900)

    A very handsome result for Sky Poker veteran NIHIGHGUN. The clues were in the form book, he ran 2nd to @GuyL2 in Gold Rush Main a few weeks ago.

    Runner-up johnny_e is a Sheriff C & D winner - this month alone he's finished 1st, 2nd & 2nd in Sheriff.

    Yet again in a buy buy-in event craigcu12 was prominent throughout. quite how he's doing it I have no idea, but it's working & good luck to him. He's very popular amongst the SPT regulars.

    6th was pacman821 who just plays good, solid, textbook poker.

    £10,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£15,880)

    EBBERDON was among the original cohort of Sky Poker players back in the noughties & has had plenty of decent scores but I don't recall him ever winning one as big as this.

    Runner-up Shelley7 has had an extraordinary January showing much improved form. In the last few days alone he (?) has run 2nd in Main, Sheriff & Quicky, 5th in Summit & 1st in MidEx. Some improved form, that.

    £5,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£6,850)

    A great week for Froozle - winning MidEx, 3rd in Summit & now winner of a big Mini.

    Sleeping giant @MattBates (5th) continues to show signs of a return to form, whilst LmfaoAllin (6th) shows there is hope for all of us as he is basically hopeless, helpless & hapless.

    This went the way of Makaka, who won BWBH exactly 2 weeks earlier for north of £2,300.

    In 3rd was ctbn, a genuinely hopeless sort, with the very solid goldnballz in 5th.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,750)

    No surprise to see roddy28 take Sheriff, he has a stellar CV, including wins in a Sunday Major and a supersized Mini that had 1,063 runners during last year's Boomlet.

    Tough FT this, look at those names.

    Arrogant, 2nd in the 7 @ 7, won Reload, then went on to win (another) SPT Seat.

    In 4th was the Swogster, another who is on a monsta upswing. He loves Reload, with 4 recent FT's - 3rd, 4th, 5th & 5th. He's also won a Mini this month & 2 days before that was 3rd in a Main.

    SPT Online Semi (83 entries)

    There was an awesome rail for this, & it delayed my dinner by several hours. 16 seats were on offer & with 32 runners left, @NOSTRI was stone last, where he stayed until near the end, then he enjoyed 2 double ups - his A-7 too good for A-J, & 8-8 holding against, err.... 8-3.

    A tough choice today.

    Honourable Mentions;

    @Arrogant for a great session - a win, a 2nd & another SPT seat.

    @Nostri for a fantastic SPT seat win, which resulted in bleeding fingers as he desperately hung on. He should really win POTD, but as he delayed my dinner by 2 hours whilst I anti-railed him I have no choice but to disqualify him.

    So, Player of the Day goes to Main Event winner @EBBERDON.

    Todays music takes us all the way back to LIve Aid. Say what you like about Staus Quo, but as intros go, this was a bit special.

    And huge thanks to @Tikay10 for his daily reports - I might not comment on them each day but they're much appreciated x
