Afternoon.

MTT numbers were very subdued last night, with Main, Mini, Turbo, Quicky & MidEx all missing. The Main had not missed for at least 6 weeks, so it was a bit odd. Rumours suggest other UK facing sites had similar experiences too. "Out of a clear blue sky" & all that.

Hopefully it was just an outlier & traffic will return to more normal levels tonight.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,288)

    Iwd_frog most frequents £2.20 MTT's, but occasionally dips his toe into the 7 @ 7. In January he made the Final twice, finishing 6th on both occasions, so winning it last night must have felt amazing. WP Mr Frog.

    There are few more consistent players than splashies & this was his second win in the last week - Friday's 7 @ 7 & now the £1k BH. He had a deep run in the Main too, finishing 8th for £265.

    £8,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£8,000)

    Earlier this month Nod was desperately unlucky not to win Sharpshooter Main, eventually finishing 2nd. All that was forgotten last night when he got the win & almost £1,600.

    Danyo0 won this one last week & came oh-so-close to a remarkable double. Historically he plays much smaller stakes, but he seems to have moved up & it's paying off big time. Think we will see plenty more big scores from him.

    @CoxyMate was a fine third.

    £2,000 Mini Predator (£2,000)

    Well now, I was all ready to give Duesenberg some grief until I checked his history & found this was the FIFTH time he's won the Mini. (4 regular Minis + a Mini Major). Quite how he's done that I don't know, he's totally risk-averse. I saw him flop a boat last night with J-7 on a 7-7-J flop & he checked it "in case Villain has J-J". Can't be too careful, eh? He's very slow to think & act too - it was almost light this morning before it finished. His best result was back in 2018 when he won a UKOPS High Roller for over £5,000, though I gather that money was later distributed to the poker needy on the cash tables.

    4th was Swog, who has had a rough tine since late January, but showed signs of a return to form here.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,680)

    An interesting Mega, with the win going to skyflyer who enjoys the coveted "Shark" rating on Sharky. Clearly a terrific player.

    3rd was The Bates, who's also decent, though not good enough to be rated as a Shark.

    The interesting one here was NOSTRI who managed to secure defeat from the jaws of victory. I looked in at one point late on & he had a monster chip lead, so I can only assume he got outplayed by skyflyer. No disgrace in that though, skyflyer is top notch. I noticed that NOSTRI won Avenger Mini a few weeks ago, so he was close to what would have been a very lucky double.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,650)

    Palace Bloke won Sheriff for the 2nd time this year, & less than a fortnight since he won Avenger Main for some £2,800. I've been watching him play for years now & I still don't know how he does it, it looks like 95% aggression & 5% skill, but it seems to work for him.

    Poor old tug180, he was 2nd in Sheriff for the second time in 5 nights.

    3rd was Ambo, who had come up just short of a final table twice in the last few nights.

    Sunday Major Freeroll (198 entries)

    A bonus result today, with QUICKFEET booking himself a seat in the Sunday Major via a 198 runner Freeroll. I fancy there will be quite a rail for him on Sunday night - I certainly hope so. The blokes an absolute ledge, & for me this was the most pleasing result of the night.

    Tough choice today.

    Honourable Mention;

    For winning a Sunday Major seat via a Freeroll;

    @QUICKFEET

    POTD

    A player who rarely gets the credit they deserve, despite playing consistently well, so it goes to last night's Mega winner. Did not have much to beat, but did it in great style.

    I feel a little bad that he did not even get an Hon Mention in POTD so today's music is specially dedicated to @Duesenberg
