Who won what, Saturday 13th March

Morning.

Numbers were largely as expected last night, & near identical w-o-w.

Have any of you been watching the Golf? Wonderful TV. The lead must have changed 6 or 7 times yesterday. It's the final round today, & any of 8 or 10 could win it, though old-stager Lee Westwood must be favourite with a 2 shot lead. Likes a bet does Lee, & we usually see him at Cheltenham, though travel restrictions presumably mean he won't be there this year.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,281)

    7 @ 7 went to mickdaddy. With 2,000 MTT's on Sky Poker he has just one previous mention, but it was a good one, as he took down Hitman Main in December for close to £1,600.

    In 4th was Tina, aka karlluke, who often does well in the £1k BH @ 19.30. (14th last night).

    Incidentally, don't forget that today is International Pi Day.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,360)

    An odd mixture of good & not-so-good on this table, with gingeninj8 & MightyMole 1st & 2nd, & Froozle & roddy28 down in 5th & 6th.

    NOSTRI was 3rd despite not managing to take a single head prize. Even so, a good effort by his standards, that was a tough FT & the top two played really well I understand.

    I'm keen to be supportive of NOSTRI of course as he's about to start MML Series 2. Hopefully this does not offend the Data Protection Act, but here's a NOSTRI fact - he owns two pet rats (yes, RATS), and he absolutely dotes on them. They revel in the quite splendid monikers of Marks & Spencer as I recall. True story bro.

    @gingeninj8 204000 1 £204 + £148.40 Head Prizes 7

    @MightyMole 0 2 £136 + £107.35 Head Prizes 9

    @jrdrinkler 0 4 £68 + £71.25 Head Prizes 7

    @Froozle 0 5 £54.40 + £28.13 Head Prizes 3

    £10,000 Sharpshooter (£11,670)

    Quality FT this, with the win going to cabbaz, less than a week after he ran 4th in Sunday Major. Curiously, 3rd in that Sunday Major was Palace Bloke who was 2nd here.

    The Bates is really moving up the gears now, 3rd here, and he also won two other MTT's, both £1,000 Guarantee BH's - one at 7.10pm for £346 (1/144), & another at 11pm for £211 (1/104).

    Lovely to see Bromley023 in 5th. We don't see nearly enough of her these days & I'm pretty sure she was celebrating Burnley's win against Everton earlier in the day. It was Burnley's 2nd win this season so she must be ecstatic.

    £3,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£3,450)

    evoecfc has been here 13 long years without making too many waves but that seems to be changing. Winning last night's Mini was his 2nd best result His best result was only last month, 2nd in Avenger Main for £1,523. What a FT that was - Palace Bloke, @PKRPar, @Doooobs @Froozle & @Granite89.

    Lots of evo's here, evoecfc in 1st & evo3 in 6th. That'll set the tongues wagging.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (2,240)

    beefmyster is getting results galore these days & it was another good night, 1st in Mega & then 2nd in Turbo. Just over a week ago he had a similar night when finishing 2nd in both Mini & Turbo.

    Same applies to runner-up rossybee16 who won Summit earlier this month, to add to Mini Major, Sheriff & Turbo which were already on his CV.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,650)

    Don't know too much about the winner but he enjoys a 93 Sharky rating so looks well handy.

    Main Event winner cabbaz was 5th to round off a terrific evening.

    maccol played just two tourneys last night, no good in 7 @ 7 but got the lot in Reload.

    In 5th, & taking 9 heads was NOSTRI. In £3 Rebuys he is very much at home & comfortable.

    £2,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,280)

    Playing just his 2nd mTT of the month & only one of the night, Coolrider1 took Turbo, with beefmyster in the frame.

    3rd was JACKALLY, not to be confused with jakally, of whom we sadly see very little these days.

    £2,000 Quickdraw (£2,020)

    It's been a marvellous March for AKAscotty, this was his third victory in 6 days - Main, Mega & Quickdraw. His Twitter feed has never been so busy, & quite right too.

    mnolan8317 loves this one, in his last three attempts he's finished 1st, 1st & 2nd, he was so close to a wonderful hat-trick.

    Quickdraw seems to be one that players specialise in, as in 3rd was ChIpSiSbk who won this 24 hours earlier.

    6th was tonyp142, who has been knocking on the door recently, a decent win must surely be imminent.

    @AKAscotty 244000 1 £373.70 + £221.77 Head Prizes 6

    @mnolan8317 0 2 £222.20 + £129.04 Head Prizes 5

    @ChIpSiSbK 0 3 £151.50 + £160.65 Head Prizes 8

    @loololollo 0 4 £111.10 + £55.55 Head Prizes 3

    @johnsonb30 0 5 £80.80 0

    @tonyp142 0 6 £70.70 + £95.16 Head Prizes 7

    £1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,900)

    RoilFlush took the closer. I believe his real expertise is cash game poker, though he's had a couple of decent tourney wins this year - Turbo in January & now MidEx.

    @RoilFlush 285000 1 £270.75 + £112.04 Head Prizes 6

    @MadMaggie1 0 2 £167.20 + £80.91 Head Prizes 6

    I think we ought to celebrate Mother's Day somehow. Forgotten to buy her anything? No problem, play this to her & you'll be out of trouble.
