Who won what, Sunday 28th March. IamAll_En wins his second Sunday Major

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 161,219

Afternoon.

What a glorious day of sport we had on Sunday. Unexpectedly, the snooker & golf were a huge anti-climax, but the F1 GP was excellent. Who'd have thought? Moto GP, as always, was superb, & the cricket was so-so. No idea what life would be like without sport.

At the tables last night, MTT traffic was broadly similar w-o-w, in fact the Sunday Major came in at £18,000, exactly the same as last Sunday.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,358

£6,000 BH £8,790

£15,000 Sunday Major £18,000

£2,500 Mini Major £2,680

£1,500 Mega £1,800

£2,500 Sheriff £3,050

£1,500 Reload £1,995

£1,500 Turbo £1,530

£2,000 Quickdraw £2,540

£1,000 MidEx £1,280

    £6,000 Bounty Hunter (£8,790)

    heddoh, who has taken down Mega & Quicky in the last 10 days, added the £6,000 BH. He has the highest MTT volume on the site in 2021, but that may be slightly misleading, as that includes Satellites, & he plays shed-loads of those.

    2nd was chrisdboy, who you may recall won the first SPT Online last September for close to £16,000. His volume of late has been quite small, but I daresay he'll be present throughout UKOPS.

    @heddoh18 1465000 1 £1164.67 + £341.40 Head Prizes 8

    @chrisdboy 0 2 £694.41 + £317.84 Head Prizes 15

    @nidge77 0 3 £417.52 + £215.53 Head Prizes 9

    @quinny76 0 4 £329.62 + £119.93 Head Prizes 6

    £15,000 Sunday Major (£18,000)

    Many congrats to IamAll_En, who joins that exclusive club who have won Sunday Major twice or more. He won it last November, was 2nd two weeks ago, & came up with the second win last night. Terrific stuff, & fully deserved.

    cabbaz must feel a little disappointed not to win - it's his second Sunday Major final this month, 4th last time, 2nd last night, although between those two results he did win a Sharpshooter Main for over £2,000.

    3rd was Alvez110, who has been on several overseas adventures with Sky Poker, including a memorable occasion in Punta Cana.

    £2,500 Mini Major (£2,680)

    thedazzman has a whole bunch of wins at the £2 & £5 levels, but this appears to be his best result all time. Decent chap, too.

    2nd was PRhack93, & he had a huge clash with Shrimpy, Broadway v top two. As a result, Shrimpy departed in 5th, but it was yet another fine result for the likeable Lincolnshire Sausage.

    3rd was ozzieowen, what a record he has. In recent weeks he has won the Main twice, Sheriff three times, Quicky twice, Turbo & MidEx. That's some CV, & it only covers February & March.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,050)

    fishhhhh took Sheriff. He's had a whole bunch of cracking results this year, with just three of them - 1st in BWBH, 1st in Avenger Main & 6th in SPT Online - coming to a total of over £10,000.

    A typically tough Sheriff FT, with minor placings going to the likes of roddy28, The Bates, & Crushy, all of whom can play a bit.

    Time for some REM.

    Stipe was way too pretentious for my liking, I don't like rock stars lecturing me, (see also Bono & Sting) but my oh my he & his band made great music.

    Thanks for the kind mentions, @Tikay10

    The funny thing was, last night I ran quite badly in all the MML games and was knocked out them all before the mini major even started (the last few were out of frustration). So I initially unregistered from the mini and last MML deep stack @9:15 about to give up for the night.

    After a break, I changed my mind and re-registered for both, and actually took them both down. To say I was a happy man going to bed is a bit of an understatement. Then waking up to find a golden ticket to my name was just the cherry on the icing! :D

    I have a feeling this recent run-good will end pretty sharpish

    congratulations @thedazzman on your best ever score, assuming @Tikay10 is correct, and as that man is never wrong i'll assume it is, don't be so modest about run good ending sharpish, you've been crushing mml for weeks now, don't change what your doing, congrats again all the best.

    Thanks @Shrimpy28

    Round about August last year I did get a 2nd in one of the Gold Rush tournaments for slightly more than the win last night. But I guess with me resetting my Sharky made it difficult for our chief to be absolutely certain ;)

    He was definitely not wrong though about how you exited the Mini. That was very unlucky.

    Yes, the MML has resurrected my enjoyment for poker again. It's keeping me focused. And the healthy competition helps as I'm such a competitive soul.

    I've only played MTT for the last couple weeks, and from all the years of playing I have never concentrated much on those. So for the foreseeable, I'll definitely be sticking with those and hopefully as you say, the results remain at least somewhat steady.

    See you at the tables.

    Thanks very much for player of the day. Really rounded off my March nicely.
    A special thanks must go to @destinycod. You wished everyone luck but me. I know this was done to have a psychological effect on me to play my A game. It worked and I dedicate the win to you.
