    this is very deep in open im 10th but only 40 outta 500 left, why oh why would someone do this

    ask me another, 11 left in 150 GRT decides to call half his stack with kj!!!! he was dominated and got lucky, it seems people will call any bet with 2 pictures, donks basically

    The thing is Pod it was 6k for a 20k pot and she/he was well stacked and fairly committed. She/he still had 36k, after calling and a chance of stepping up to a 52k pot at a vital stage in the tourney. The all-in call again is 12k to win 52k and they have hit the board. It's only a small pair but it's beating any 2 overcards.

    Many years ago I lost at a crucial stage of a tournament to a very good player when he called my AK all-in with Q6. I asked him later why he called and he replied simply ...... ''because I could''

    In this situation I'd be very tempted too. Sorry if it's not the answer you were looking for :o)

    id be allin preflop, no point putting just half your stack in may aswell bang it in preflop, he would probably have folded if you had

    thanks dave. i can understand the push pre flop, but my reraise should have had him/her worrying, followed by an all in post, just couldnt work out what  they  thought they were was beating. like hurst said allin pre might have got them off, but not to sure as they had 6k in the middle already ,and if they were willing to go 25k only ahead of ak, aq and2s . suppose we all play the game different and in more cases than not i would come out on top.
