Who won what, Wednesday 11th August - whitters wins the Main

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,473

Afternoon.

A fairly average evening for MTT traffic, nothing in particular stood out.

Today sees the start of the 2nd Test between England & India, this time at HQ, Lords. Cricket at it's very best. Virat Kohli suffered the humiliation of a golden duck in the first Test, so he'll be bent on doing better. If you are a cricket fan - proper Test cricket, not pyjama nonsense - do try & watch him in action, either in the field or at the crease. He's amazeballs & it's a privilege we should not waste to watch such talented players, they are not around forever.

£700 7 @ 7 £917

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£917)

    chianti - not to be confused with dry red wine - took last night's 7 @ 7. Has made the 7 @ 7 final three times this year but this was their maiden victory. Bet that felt good & maybe he treated himself to a deserved glass of that red wine.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

    Quite a surprise to see bearlyther take this, not because he's not good enough, far from it, but he mainly plays HU SNG's. He played around 40 of them yesterday & he does remarkably well in them. Other than 2 games on Monday, he's not played any MTT's since before Christmas, but for whatever reason played a full schedule last night & it looks like it worked out nicely. He won a satellite to the Main too. Maybe we'll see a little more of him at the MTT tables now. Certainly, if you get heads up with him in an MTT, you'll have your hands full.

    Runner-up PRHack93 played just three MTT's last night - 2nd in this, won a £500 BH for £150, & no luck in the Main - so he made a good few bob on the session.

    @bearlyther 135000 1 £203.50 + £97 Head Prizes 4

    £5,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£5,220)

    whitters95 won his second Main Event this year, a Hitman in May & now Predator. Also won an Avenger Main just before Christmas in which @waller02 also made the FT. Has done extremely well in £110 events this year - won a Summit, 2nd & 3rd in Sunday Majors & 3rd in a BWBH.

    ozzie was 2nd, with steveysee a fine fifth.

    DiggerMan is running exceptionally hot. On Tuesday he played just one MTT - the Main - & was 2nd for some £700, and again last night he only played the Main & was 6th for £217. I'm expecting the hat-trick of Main Event FT's tonight Chris.

    @whitters95 870000 1 £717.75 + £300.53 Head Prizes 6

    £1,500 Mini Predator (£1,675)

    By all accounts Mini winner Royster played very well last night & made a lot of friends. First ever win & Results Thread appearance too.

    LmfaoAllin is on an unusually good run, won MidEx a few nights ago & so nearly won this too. If he keeps this up I'll have to stop being mean to him.

    An interesting one is Makaka, who I'm fairly sure has been MIA for a few months. Last mention was back in march when they won both the £1k BH & Quickdraw on the same night. Very good player.

    In 6th was PKRPar to complete three really good days, won MidEx on Monday, Main on Tuesday & third here. Was not done yet either, as he went on to finish 3rd in Sheriff, so that's 4 nice scores in three nights.

    @Royster 670000 1 £217.75 + £106.18 Head Prizes 19

    @LmfaoAllin 0 2 £125.62 + £34.28 Head Prizes 6

    seikus has been AWOL for the last three weeks before returning in style last night & binking Mega.

    wynne1938 continues to defy his considerable age & produce results & was 6th. Gotta love a wrinklie doing well.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,700)

    The versatile Crushy took Sheriff & then went on a Turbo DYM spree which ended with a winning streak of 7. Currently tops the 2021 Sharky most profitable Sky Poker MTT-ers, & if that's not enough, he heads this week's Premier League Leaderboard, which is worth £1,000 to the winner, after finishing second last week for £750. WAL.

    Plenty of quality here, with RCord second, PKRPar third, Main Event winner whitters fourth & Uncle Ungo fifth.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Dog Bloke won Sheriff on Sunday, was 5th in Tuesday's Summit & took last night's Turbo. He also finished 6th in both Main & Mini on Tuesday for a piece of Sky Poker Jackpot. When this lad is in form he's a real force to be reckoned with. He's been doing well away from Sky Poker too.

    Dooobs only played two MTT's last night, running 3rd in Turbo & 6th in Quickdraw. He then played a best of three £15 HU PLO8 SNG's, winning two of them. I'd assume it's fairly rare to see those run.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,520)

    nslater112 took Quickdraw, best result since June when they won both Gold Rush Main & MidEx.

    After that hot spell he had a few months ago, we have not seen a great deal of AKAscotty, but he played his first full schedule in a while last night & got 5th in this.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,000)

    You never quite know what to expect from Dithery Don, but after winning Tuesday's Main he decided to play exactly ONE MTT last night - & won it. Has played just 274 Sky Poker MTT's this year, but to be fair he's not a young man by any means. He's still umming & arring, & currently mixing cash elsewhere with sporadic MTT's here, & apparently that's the plan going forward. Until he changes his mind, of course. He's a lot better than he thinks if he did but know it.

    I might be old but at least I don't get my Monday's and Tuesday's mixed up :smile:

    Although, technically I did win Monday's main on Tuesday, so I'll half excuse your embarrassing faux pas.
