Who won what, Saturday 18th September - peiratis is the Sharpshooter

Morning.

As usual on a Sunday, I'm going to skip through this fairly quickly today.

Sharpshooter Main trades in a very narrow band - last 3 weeks have been £6,930, £6,990 & £6,870 - & that trend goes back a long way. The 7 @ 7 at £756 was right off the bottom of the scale, only during the Euros has it been lower. Sheriff did well again, £2,150, beating Friday's number by one entry. MidEx hit it's highest number for a month.

In football, Liverpool slammed three past a very sprightly Palace. After Mo Salah scored he ripped his shirt off. I have no idea why players do that & incur an auto-yellow, but oh my, has that boy been in the gym, or what?

In horse racing, Jockey Kevin Stott on Bielsa had to be either very brave or very daft to be the only rider in a field of 24 to hug the stands rail, but it paid off handsomely, & it was a fifth Ayr Gold Cup for trainer Kevin Ryan.

In Darts, Fallon Sherrock became the first woman to reach a televised PDC Final, & she did so in tremendous style, winning her semi final 11-10 after being 6-10 down. In the Final she bumped into none other than a resurgent MvG, & after she was 6-3 up, MvG piled on the coals & beat her 11-7. An extraordinary performance by Fallon.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

Late last year Richrash93 was a prolific winner, including the £6,000 BH, but we've not seen so much of them this year. Took last night's £1,000 BH, & then played bits & bobs right through the night, including winning a £100 Turbo BH that kicked off at 3am. Long shift, that, but if you enjoy poker & make a few bob, why not?

TheSaw enjoyed his best result in a while in 4th.

    x34 was 6th in Friday's Main & 5th last night.

6 days after winning the Sunday Major, the in-form tonyp142 was 6th.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,200)

After making FT's galore the last few days, markycash-bang-wallop got his win at last. Good win too, as he had to beat Mega specialist The--Don who has an exemplary record in this. After the Final our nitty friend - that's The--Don, not markycash, obviously - was quick to praise the winner, who, he reported, annihilated everyone. Fair play to both of them.

4th was midnightma, who won MidEx earlier this week.

    Excellent write up as always.

@The--Don was very gracious indeed. A class act and a refreshing change from the usual 'why are you calling my raise OOP with 7/2 off you big Scottish donkey' crew 😊
