Who won what, Sunday September 19th, seikus wins the Major for the 4th time since April

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 104,459

Morning.

Numbers were not too bad last night, with the £6k BH recording it's best number in 10 weeks, & the Sunday Major it's 2nd best in 6 weeks.

In sport, the headline had to be the death of Jimmy Greaves. I was present when he made his debut for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 1957. He was only with Chelsea for 4 seasons but scored 132 goals including 13 hat-tricks. He had been very ill for some time, since a stroke in 2015, & in a way, his death was a merciful release. God bless Jimmy, England's best ever goalscorer imo.

In football, 36 year old Ronaldo scored again for Man U.

And on the subject of age, in NFL, 44 year old Tom Brady is a freak, that is all. He was at it again last night, and has now made more TD passes in his forties than he did in his twenties.

Meanwhile, PSG's Messi was subbed yesterday, & he did not look best pleased about it. Maybe he's not ageing as well as Ronaldo or Brady.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,029)

    Despite only taking 12 head prizes, bakersdoze won 7 @ 7. Really should have taken one more. Not a great deal of Sky Poker history, but did take down a Gold Rush Mini a few months ago.

    Saturday's 7 @ 7 winner LitlGenral made a bold bid for the double but could only manage 6th.

    £6,000 Bounty Hunter (£6,990)

    Twice a Sunday Major runner-up this year, grinddd took the £6k BH, picking up a handy £1,287.

    The now deposed reigning Sunday Major winner tonyp142 was 3rd, with bbMike 5th.

    Despite late-regging, the newly slimline Shrimpy was a fine 4th.

    £12,000 Sunday Major (£14,200)

    I watched much of this & it was a corker. At one stage it looked like @HAYSIE was heading for the win, he had a decent chip lead, but he suddenly disappeared, presumably as a result of a big-on-big.

    With 4 tables left, Dog-Bloke had twice as many chips as the 2nd placed player & I assumed he would win, but the excellent seikus, who was always prominent, ended up with the trophy.

    @seikus surely deserves the title of the best Sunday Major on the site at present - this was his FOURTH Sunday Major win since April. Anyone beat that?

    craigcu12, aka Elite Craig, was the early chippie, but then fell back into the pack before a stunning late surge saw him take 5th.

    Good efforts also by waller02 & Solack.

    £1,500 Mini Major (£1,570)

    This went the way of SPT winner & Gooner miniman88, his best result since running 4th in the Sunday Major won by pacman821 in May.

    Following on from 4th in the £6,000 BH, Shrimpy was runner-up, & his Sharky graph just keeps getting better & better. I'm pretty sure if he was a footballer he would be Pogba or Dele Alli - unbelievably good when he puts his mind to it, but maybe gets more fun showboating.

    Too many cashees to mention, but special well done to Toffeeandy, & yet another good effort by markycash-bang-wallop.

    I noticed @ MattBates made the money, so a good opportunity for you to join me in wishing him a happy 49th birthday today, & I dedicate the little video below to him.

    Finally, The--Don is having a great month. He claims not to enjoy MTT's, despite which he seems to be doing OK. In fact he's doing so well in Sky Poker MTT's that any day now I expect him to start playing MTT's elsewhere, because that's his his mind works. I think "contrary" sums him up nicely.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,320)

    Breizh29 is a new name on me & I fancy is a NKOTB at Sky Poker. Had a decent day yesterday, winning an early morning £500 BH & then taking an unusually strong Mega.

    After winning Friday's Avenger Main & Saturday's Sheriff, ozzieowen came up one spot shy of his hat-trick.

    4th was Natnug, with midnightma, 4th in this the previous night, 5th. midnightma then went on to win a £500 BH that kicked off at 22.15.

    @Breizh29 660000 1 £198 + £192.25 Head Prizes 13

    @ozzieowen 0 2 £132 + £31.17 Head Prizes 2

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,650)

    If this was not the toughest FT of the night it was not far off it, with Tuesday's Summit winner mcg899 emerging on top of a very talented pile.

    Not at all sure who the "value" is here, with Palace 2nd, M10Dembele 3rd, roddy 4th, RCord 5th & Major winner seikus 6th.

    Scary.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,554)

    Over the last two years hugegoose - not to be confused with zzgoose or LooseyGoose - has now finished 1st (twice), 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th in Reload. Just needs 6th for the full house.

    Saturday's Mini winner utang was 3rd, & went on to finish in the same spot in MidEx.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,710)

    Not content with winning the Major for the 4th time since April, seikus took the Turbo too. That's just greedy.

    Runner-up UP - surely one of the shortest aliases on the site? - put in a 12 hour shift & was rewarded with 2nd.

    6k BH winner grinddd was 6th, so he had a decent session.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,680)

    Sexyjo86 - no idea if male or female - logged on late & this was their first MTT of the day, so that must have been most pleasing.

    Tedson, 3rd in Turbo, was runner-up, & there was yet another FT for seikus. He must be very lucky. Or good. Or both.

    @Sexyjo86 208000 1 £294 + £178.67 Head Prizes 3

    @Tedson 0 2 £184.80 + £85.20 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,140)

    Potsnacker took MidEx, then celebrated in style by winning a £100 Turbo HU against none other than alancarr12.

    Another FT for utang (3rd), and oynutter ended a very good week in 5th.

    @Potsnacker 171000 1 £210.90 + £109.67 Head Prizes 6

    When you've won the Major for the 4th time in short order, and taken Turbo for the rubz, it can only be.....

    In other news...

    The away team were in fine form last night.

    @PBKR took the Party Poker One Drop, picking up $11,000.

    Meanwhile, up in Leeds, @destinycod was 4th in the 30-30, for which he earned around £8,000. The 30-30 Finalists are pictured below, & if you don't know which one @destinycod is, shame on you - he's obviously the handsome one.

    I watched THE most amazing music documentary last night, "Last Man Standing", chronicling the extraordinary story of Death Row Records, the murders of Tupac & Biggie, the gang culture of the Crips & Bloods & of course Suge Knight. If it were fiction you'd say it was far-fetched, it really was breathtaking. Try & watch it if you can, it's 2 hours well-spent.

    Hard to find any music vids by any Tupac or Biggie that would appeal, but Snoop Dogg was featured on the periphery, so here's a taste of the Snoopster.
