Who won what, Monday 20th September. CptSFK impresses in winning the Main

Afternoon.

A quickie today, as I have time-issues. As in, I'm awful at time-management.

Traffic was middle of the road last night. With no football on I thought it would be better. So hard to predict traffic. Two bright spots were 7 @ 7 which was highest for a week, & the £1,000 BH which covered for only the 2nd time in the last 8 renewals.

In football, Nottingham Forest appointed their 14th Manager in 10 years, what a shambles. The "lucky" man is Steve Cooper who did a good job at Swansea.

The Ryder Cup starts on Friday. I love everything about golf, but the hype around the Ryder Cup, the obnoxious behaviour of the galleries, the players revving up the fans every time they make a putt is not what I enjoy at all. For goodness sake, it's golf, not football or darts. And the TV & Media keep telling us over & over again how wonderful it all is. Let us be the judge of that, eh? And yes, I'm a grumpy old so & so, but golf is not a team sport, & much of it's attraction is the exemplary etiquette & behaviour of the players & spectators. I suppose I will end up watching it though. But if I see Poults - who I adore - pumping his chest again I swear I'll scream.

    Unbelievable performance by LitlGenral, won this on Saturday, 2nd on Sunday, won it again on Monday. Love to see it.

    3rd was Sunday's Mini-Major winner, miniman88, who seems to be emerging from a thin spell.

    Tough renewal of the £1,000 BH, with Makaka, Swog, roddy & C & D specialist karlluke all involved, but it was nslater who took the top slot, ahead of minter123.

    £5,000 Marksman Bounty Hunter (£5,550)

    CptSFK made a lot of friends in winning last night's Main, everyone seemed pleased for him. Only ~100 games here, but has already made the FT of a Reload and cashed in the Major that Palace won a few weeks ago.

    PKRPar doured his way into third, with MrDooWop 4th & Uncle Ungo, who we have not seen a deal of this month, in 5th.

    In 6th was the much-admired lyonsbob06, who revels in a Sharky rating of 90 & six figures of profit.

    @CptSFK 925000 1 £756.19 + £296.29 Head Prizes 9

    @DW1414 0 2 £453.71 + £120.32 Head Prizes 5

    £1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,615)

    bigroppa, just 7 games this month & none for the last 4 days, single-tabled the Mini & took it down. Not a great deal of history but has finalled the Mini several times.

    In 5th, THEHOOVER did OK but failed to clean up.

    MAGPIETYKE rounded out the top 6.

    @bigroppa 646000 1 £209.95 + £54.49 Head Prizes 7

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,280)

    ed2fast is a "one a night" player, almost always Mini or Mega, but he got the job done nicely & was too good for the elite Mega specialist The--Don. Was an enthralling Heads Up with The--Don typically active. As in, not very.

    Quite a nice final this, with spearsy136 rocking up in 5th & Bristol's very own Gordon Ramsay in 6th.

    @ed2fast 640000 1 £192 + £82.66 Head Prizes 4

    @The--Don 0 2 £128 + £53.97 Head Prizes 3

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,600)

    No idea if true or not, but I fancy Palace may have won Sheriff more times than any other player. Come at me.

    miniman ran 6th, but with prize money only going down to 5th he went home hungry, though he did take a head prize.

    Swog continues to do well, maybe he's had some coaching, but he's had some real nice scores of late including winning the £6,000 BH.

    A few weeks ago I wrote;

    "Bit of a surprise here as Gerrard69 took the closer"

    Well just to make a fool of me, he won it again last night. Poker really is great at making us look daft.

    h2>In other news...

    Everyone was caught on the back foot yesterday when the USA unexpectedly announced that they will now allow people from Europe to fly to the USA no questions asked "from November". I can't find what date in November, but it's interesting to note that the WSOP Main starts on 4th November, so it MAY be possible for Brits to fly across & play the biggie. There are several opening days though so that gives a few days grace.

    Two caveats though;

    To fly to the USA, passengers will need to be double vaxxed.

    In any case, the WSOP has already stipulated that players MUST be double vaxxed.

    You pay your money & you take your choice. No double vaxx, no WSOP.
