Afternoon.
A quickie again today.
The Main hit it's highest prize pool for 4 weeks, but generally traffic was a bit meh.
In sport, Mike Ashley might at last be rid of Newcastle United, to the delight of the Toon fans. Even so, finding an owner acceptable to Newcastle fans is impossible, they won't be happy until they own the Club, & that ain't gonna happen because they don't have the money. It's so weird how they demand this & that, "we won't accept this" or whatever, acting as if they own the place. They don't, they are just customers. As it happens, Ashley was the perfect owner in many ways, as he does not give a monkeys what the fans say or think. Nor should he, it's his money, not theirs.
And more bad news on the ben Stokes front, it's looking like he won't be fit for the Ashes - if they even go ahead. Either way, get well soon Ben, England needs a proper Captain.

A remarkable effort by NOSTRI to finish 2nd on what was a decent FT. He has a reputation for being terrible, which is unfair. Poor, yes, terrible, no.

ValueJL is the real deal. Strange profile, made very little for 6 years & then for the last 2 years just seemed to get the lot. 4 Main Event wins, a near £4,000 UKOPS win, 2nd & 3rd in the Major. Proper player.
In 5th was Climwinner, with JPDERRY in 6th.
Great effort by Shrimpy in 7th. Was felted with around 12 left but somehow hung in there to ladder to 7th before he got hit by a bad one.

And we had another bite of the FTJ, as Climwinner was 5th in the Main & 4th in the Mini so picks up a £150 bonus. We've had an amazing number of FTJ payouts recently. Variance can affect the sites as well as the players it seems.
