Who won what, Tuesday 12th October - a better night for Nil Channing

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,083

Morning.

There was international football on TV last night, despite which - or perhaps because of - Summit had it's highest prize pool for 10 weeks. That apart though, traffic was on the thin side.

As to the football, England huffed & puffed their way to a 1-1 draw with Hungary in a dreary affair. Meanwhile Scotland achieved one of the greatest results in their history, beating the mighty Faroe Islands 1-0 in a thrill-an-hour affair.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£770)

    The perfect result for Russ66. Seems to just play one MTT per night, always the 7 @ 7. Ran 6th in it a week ago, then took top spot last night.

    Not an easy win either, when you are 3 handed & your two opponents are Crushy & Miniman it must be a bit scary.

    Sunday's 7 @ 7 winner evoecfc, who a reader brighter than me suggested was an Exeter City fan, was 5th.

    @Russ66 220000 1 £107.61 + £82.71 Head Prizes 12

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

    A really tough renewal of this, with the top two sounding like a 70's double act, Jessie & Jacques.

    Look at the quality on this table - Jessieak, Jacquesb, skyflyer, roddy28, and Monty15. At least it was easy to spot the mark.

    @Jessieak 120000 1 £222 + £63.30 Head Prizes 3

    £5,000 Gold Rush (£5,400)

    In late September CptSFK sprung something of a surprise when winning Marksman Main, and added Gold Rush Main last night to make it two Mains in three weeks. Only has 137 MTT's against their name too, so we might have a livewire on our hands.

    In 2nd was tony142, who, as we shall see, had a splendid session.

    £1,500 Mini Gold Rush (£1,920)

    clov4r, who I noticed doing well in Streak Week last week, changed tack & took down Mini Gold Rush for around £300. Gotta win a shed load of tenner DYM's to notch up £300 profit.

    Quite a star-studded FT as Minis go, with the likes of Crushy, MAGPIETYKE & whitters all there. Swog finalled too, his 2nd of the night, which might be some kind of record. He does really rather well considering his limited skillset.

    @clov4r 3840000 1 £242.40 + £58.06 Head Prizes 8

    @debbie2927 0 2 £141.12 + £40.31 Head Prizes 7

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,040)

    Big-Frog, our resident Anura, won Mega & appeared in a Results Thread for only the 2nd time, having won a Mini Marksman last year.

    Having run 2nd in the Main, the frustration continued for tonyp142, 3rd this time, with splashies in 4th.

    @Big_Frog 520000 1 £192.40 + £92.01 Head Prizes 4

    £5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£6,400)

    Easily the biggest 1st prize of the night & it went to lolufold. Seems strange to think the kids probably see him as "old school" these days, as he's been on the scene so long. He's clearly still got game though.

    What a frustrating time tonyp142 had - 2nd in the Main, 3rd in Mega, 2nd in Summit. Still, in those three MTT's he collected the best part of £1,700, so I guess he'll get by.

    @lolufold 320000 1 £1184 + £853.28 Head Prizes 8

    @tonyp142 0 2 £704 + £244.34 Head Prizes 5

    @D99999 0 3 £480 + £75 Head Prizes 2

    @Tedson 0 5 £256 + £75 Head Prizes 2

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,572)

    Rxxaviuk is becoming quite a specialist, & has now won Reload twice & MidEx three times this year.

    Runner-up zigzaggg was 10th in this two nights earlier & his turn to win it is surely not far away.

    @Rxxaviuk 1426000 1 £212.22 + £85.69 Head Prizes 13

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Turbo was another tough one, with Sharki0 taking the honours ahead of the excellent mcg899, with fan's favourite Mody 4th & skyflyer 6th.

    @NChanning still can't win an MTT, but 3rd is an improvement. On Monday, he made two finals, finished 6th in both. Never earned a penny from either prize pool & never took a single head, so made two finals but went home empty handed. Not so much Neil Channing as Nil Channing.

    @Sharki0 245000 1 £283.05 + £151.54 Head Prizes 4

    @mcg899 0 2 £168.30 + £122.89 Head Prizes 7

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,000)

    nishg made it a hat-trick of wins inside a week, Reload, Mega & now Quicky.

    A third FT of the night for Crushy, but no wins, while Tedson, 5th in Summit, was 3rd here.

    In 4th GFYSYFF. Anyone care to guess what those initials stand for?

    @nishg 116000 1 £270 + £185.30 Head Prizes 5

    @loololollo 0 2 £162 + £84.38 Head Prizes 6

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,020)

    JPDERRY, who made a Predator Main FT last week, took MidEx.

    the-sock, who is an odd one, tried to make it a pair of MidEx wins in 5 nights but came up a spot shy.

    @JPDERRY 153000 1 £188.70 + £134.26 Head Prizes 6

    @the-sock 0 2 £112.20 + £41.26 Head Prizes 5

    @Mark277 posted this yesterday, but in case you missed it, here's a full-on Hellmuth mental implosion from the WSOP. If you or I behaved like that at the poker table we'd be snap penalised or even banned. Lord knows how Hellmuth is allowed to get away with it time after time.

    POSITIVITY? Yeah, right.

    The thing that annoys me more than his shyte talk is the people just sitting there not sayin a word, ah know he's a big punter but ah think ah would have a go at him.
