Who won what, Wednesday 20th October - Boom for BooBoo

Hello.

Traffic was so-so last night, though considering it's Champion's League football this week with some very attractive matches I guess we should be pleased.

Ronaldo, with that wonderful blend of freaky talent & his ability to steal the headlines, ensured warm reviews for Man U, but it cannot disguise that as a team, they are badly under-performing. There's no lack of talent there, far from it, they have more than enough, but they just don't seem able to click. They play Liverpool on Sunday. That's going to be interesting.

Still on football, it emerged yesterday that Steve Bruce, upon being sacked by Newcastle United, received £8 million - EIGHT MILLION POUNDS - in compensation. Isn't football weird, in that folks get paid such huge sums for failing? The fans bayed for his head, but who's laughing now?

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,001)

Another night, another win for AlexaAJ, though I know very little about him/her/them. I can see that they have recently run 2nd, 2nd & 3rd in 7 @ 7, so I guess that's something. Clearly more than handy, but has yet to win any of the really big stuff, unless my memory has failed me again.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

This completed a quarter of wins inside a month for Monty15, though the other three were all late-nighters - Turbo, Quicky & MidEx.

In 3rd was razial, who won this the previous night. A new name to me, just 150 games total & only returned 48 hours earlier from a 4 month sabbatical, & in fact only their fifth MTT here since 2018. Once again, a curiosity to me how players come & go. Perhaps they leave Sky Poker then realise how much they miss the slick software and friendly table chat.

And look who was 6th, splashies. He's becoming a one a night sort. One FT that is.

    £5,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£5,760)

Boom for BooBoo who has been hammering the DYM's earlier this month, presumably for the Streak Week thing but now takes Predator Main.

Very tough last 4 here, with tonyp, Alexa & StayOrGo all vying with BooX2 for the win.

In 5th was DeaD_CLowN, who I'm very much hoping will be at SPT Manchester, as he seems very chatty & amiable at the tables.

    £1,500 Mini Predator (£1,550)

It's not all been plain-sailing for PAPABURG lately, but a Mini win rights much of the damage.

In 3rd was coolhanal, & I'm very pleased to see he is still enjoying his poker here & presumably seeing plenty of big hands.

site unreal for seeing big hands all the time

In 5th was another chatty player, Collabo, who it would be great to see in Manchester.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,240)

We have seen very little of cabbaz this month but after last night that may change, as he had a lovely double, winning both Mega & Quickdraw.

A year or two ago who would ever have imagined NOSTRI finishing above MattBates in anything? Strange how times change. He even took 2 heads, equalling his best ever in a single tourney. Good news emerged yesterday too, we may be seeing Nostri in Manchester, as he has applied to Mrs Nostri for a pass. More news when we hear further.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,700)

StayOrGo has been making plenty of Finals without winning many, so a Sheriff win was just the job, & he followed it with 3rd in Quickdraw. Even better, he won a seat to SPT Manchester last night too. See you there Graham.

I could be wrong i've only seen bits about Steve Bruce on our forum but the 8 million figure was for his backroom team as well as Brucie still it's alot of money blokes like me can only dream of
It seems he's had alot of abuse from the local rag and barcode fans and it's affecting his mental wellbeing yet he's a local boy and one of their own , fickle
looking at their squad it's no surprise he struggled , it would be nice to see the Arabs spend a season in the champo especially with FFP
