Who won what, Friday 28th January. The old timers get the lot - Solack the BWBH, goldnballz Avenger

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 161,220

Morning.

Saturday, so just a quick run-through.

Lovely numbers right across the board last night. No complaints at all.

The Everton Managerial saga rolls on, & it looks like the Board have rolled over & given in to the fans by appointing Frank Lampard. I'm in the neutral corner, I really don't care if Everton sink or swim, but I quite like Frank, so on balance I'm pleased I suppose. Quite a surprise to see he is only 43 years old. As a younger player he earned the nick "Fat Frank", as he carried a bit of excess timber, but in later years it came to be a term of endearment, especially as he was probably the fittest & hardest working player in the UK. Kevin de Bruyne today is what Frank was 20 years ago. He really was that good.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,071)

    I can't find much history on 7 @ 7 winner R_Outlaw, except that he ran 4th in November's UKOPS 39.

    joyce1986, a previous winner of 7 @ 7 could only manage 2nd, but look at those head prizes - no less than 20 of them. Step aside, joyce coming through.

    In 4th was bbMike, and the coo1-um bankroll got a little boost from finishing 5th.

    @R_Outlaw 306000 1 £145.92 + £72.90 Head Prizes 7

    @joyce1986 0 2 £87.55 + £79.79 Head Prizes 20

    @ronny707 0 3 £53.55 + £16.67 Head Prizes 5

    @bbMike 0 4 £42.04 + £17.73 Head Prizes 6

    @coo1-um 0 5 £35.88 + £5.26 Head Prizes 2

    @Jayden602 0 6 £30.20 + £3.28 Head Prizes 1

    £6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£7,800)

    Solly took BWBH. Has won most of the Sky Poker biggies several times, and it was the 3rd time he's won this particular one. With a 20% ROI over 30,000 games he does really well for such a luckbox. Not a young man either, he's the same age as Dollie.

    As you'd expect with BWBH, a good quality FT with MRBLEWPIE & cabbaz on the lower podium steps.

    In 4th was Drewett who is really making a name for himself, & from just ~100 games has already won 7 @ 7 & Turbo, and last night was his biggest cash so far. I fancy there will be plenty more.

    @SoLack 390000 1 £1170 + £741.75 Head Prizes 6

    @MRBLEWPIE 0 2 £780 + £234.37 Head Prizes 3

    @cabbaz 0 3 £468 + £159.38 Head Prizes 3

    @Drewett 0 4 £390 + £350.38 Head Prizes 6

    @hurloon1 0 5 £312 + £131.26 Head Prizes 3

    @RCord 0 6 £253.50 + £187.51 Head Prizes 4

    £8,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£10,200)

    Great result in the Avenger Main as goldnballz takes top spot. He's another player with a 20%+ ROI over a very big sample size, 36,000 games in his case. Most of his wins are much smaller but he has a few biggies on his CV too. Well done Keith.

    RCord started the night well, 6th in BWBH, 2nd in this.

    UnEuropean was 6th here & 3rd in Sheriff, so another good night. Struggling to convert FT's to wins at the moment but in a short time here & only 1,400 games has already won Turbo 4 times, Sheriff twice, BWBH, Quickdraw & Reload.

    @goldnballz 1192000 1 £1351.50 + £361.66 Head Prizes 7

    @RCord 0 2 £805.80 + £200.65 Head Prizes 9

    £4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£5,105)

    daldo has been here around 4 years & two weeks ago booked their biggest win when taking Reload for some £360. And now, just a fortnight later he more than doubles that with an Avenger Mini victory worth £745. Lovely stuff.

    AngelAngel cashed again, & in 6th was snoxx11, who also ran 5th in Mega.

    @daldo17 2478000 1 £638.12 + £106.50 Head Prizes 6

    @roadbeers 0 2 £357.35 + £65.86 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,440)

    waller02 had no luck in BWBH or Main but winning Mega is not a bad consolation prize. Claimed to be in a downswing recently, but even the most cursory glance at his Sharky graph suggests he is going along very nicely indeed. In the late stages he called with 10-7 & was up against A-K, but running Tens got the job done. Gotta gamble to win.

    snoxx, 6th in the Mini, was 5th, with Drewett, 4th in BWBH, 6th here.

    tomgoodun, runner-up to spearsy in Thursday's Mini, was 8th.

    @waller02 720000 1 £208.80 + £103.13 Head Prizes 3

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,950)

    The Natnug Express shows no sign of stopping, & after winning Tuesday's Summit & Wednesday's 7 @ 7 he took last night's Sheriff.

    A slightly frustrating night for destinycod, 7th in both BWBH & Quickdraw, but hopefully the runner-up spot here repaired most of the damage.

    3rd was UnEuropean, who we already mentioned, with Jscorgie in 5th.

    Sandwiched between those two was Swog, who is making FT's galore. Still no sign of a win though.

    @Natnug 195000 1 £341.25 + £205.94 Head Prizes 3

    @destinycod 0 2 £214.50 + £105.47 Head Prizes 5

    @UnEuropean 0 3 £146.25 + £142.08 Head Prizes 5

    This day last year...

    NIHIGHGUN, EBBERDON, Froozle, roddy & Mr Arrogant all featured this day last year.

    In Player of the Day, @NOSTRI achieved the difficult feat of getting disqualified.

    Wp last night. I mostly have chat closed whilst playing so apologies if I was being ignorant.

    Thanks as always for the write ups @Tikay10 and it was great to see @goldnballz take down the Main last night, definitely one of the good guys.

    @SoLack

    Care home staff? I still qualify for Club 18-30 Holidays.

    Well done last night mate, & I hope you are keeping well. Be good to see you at an SPT this year too.

    Thanks. I would love to play an SPT again but due to ops on both eyes 6+ years ago my eyesight is too weak for live poker. I manage online with 5x magnification but too much of a struggle at casinos.

    Sorry to hear that, though it perhaps does explain some of the plays I've seen you make at SPT's.
