A glance through the Sky forums shows many threads devoted to runbad. Runbad is standard in poker though, right? We all run behind EV at some point. Just take that ROI and accept the beats. Aged shill Tikay will tell you as much. And he knows, right?
If you've been a reg on Sky for any length of time you know something is wrong. Why do you play on Sky? With it's pathetic rakeback and greedy rake? Because there's a ton of fish. But that only makes sense if everything else is above board. Do you, fellow reg, feel that everything is kosher? If you do, then perhaps I'm just another loon on a rant. But you don't, do you?
I've played millions and millions of hands of poker. I'm in profit on Sky, a couple thousand last time I checked but might be slightly less. Since 2007 Sky is the only site that consistently puts me miles behind EV. "It's just variance, bro.". Maybe you're right. Just this one site has me run behind EV to nth % and everywhere else I'm just a luckbox over 15 years.
I should have paid attention when K Williams told me about the hole card cams in 2012 (because if they can do that, what else are they doing?). I didn't. I am/was a fool. Other regs: Get your money off. Or be in a position to make this same post in a year or two.
TLDR: Crazy conspiracy theory reg quits. Everyone laughs (sadly, to themselves).

1. "Pathetic rakeback and greedy rake"? Every site has its pluses and minuses. Having played millions of hands on over 20 sites, I would confidently say that, in today's market place, Sky's rakeback is miles above average, and its rake worse than the average.
2. Is everything "kosher"? Of course it is. Sky has been bought and sold 3 times in my time here. Do you seriously believe that people have paid lots of money for a shonky site? And why would Sky's owners risk £billions so that X wins £100 instead of you?
3. "Expected EV". Expected by who? You? There are 2 separate points to realise here:-
(a) Sky has got harder in the last 3 or so years. Firstly, there are not "tons of fish". Various reasons-they have reduced everywhere, Sky doing little to attract new players, and top players migrating to Sky amongst them
(b) Sky is very different to other sites. Has always been 6-max, always been nearly all Bounty Hunters, and no antes. It is no secret that the player pool is far smaller, tends to shove tighter and call looser than other sites. My expected EV varies enormously from site to site. I am up 6 figures on 3 sites. Yet I am a slightly losing player on 3 more. Variance may be part of that. But I bet the way I play relative to the player pool is far more important.
4. So-while variance may be part of it, it is rather more likely that it is your game, relative to the player pool, that needs work. Or, of course, play elsewhere where your game may be better suited. Because you talk about "expected EV" as though it is a universal concept. It is not. And to maintain an EV requires totally changing the way the game is played over time, and making different adjustments on different sites.
5. I have seen a lot of massive winners struggle to change with the game, and now do different things. Several of them share your views. But real life is rather more simple, and rather more brutal, than conspiracy theories.
Good luck wherever you play.
One thing you would be better served with focusing on is whether there is fair play going on from the players. On small, one nation sites like Sky with minimal security budget and tracking software blocked, the chances of player collusion and assistance tools going undetected are significantly higher than the Zoom pools. There's no accusations here, but you should stay vigilant and focus on making the best play you can in every spot.
Just get better at poker.
