Do you ever watch a film that you have seen before but you forgot how good it was ?.

Watched " Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri " on the telly last night, what a really good film, ah had forgot how good an actress Frances McDormand is, a powerful sad / funny /sad film that holds you from start to finish.

    Thats a really good choice.
    One of my favourites.

There have been a number of good films mentioned so far.
Shawshank will be in my top ten, as will Three Billboards.
I suppose all great films stand the test of time.
In this type of thread The Godfather usually gets a mention, as will No Country For Old Men, Goodfellas, Usual Suspects, A Few Good Men, Pulp Fiction, and Top Gun,.
Most of those mentioned so far are older films.
One of my favourite newer films is The Dry.
I am a big Grisham fan, Pelican Brief would also be my favourite based on his books.
Interesting to note that his next book due out later this year is called The Exchange.
It is a sequel to The Firm.
No doubt it wont take long to get to our screens.

I have just come across this.
It may help a few memories.
Particularly for some of the oldies like me.

I watched The Covenant yesterday, Guy Ritchies latest.
Not sure if it will be an all time great, but definitely worth a watch.

I watched Sisu, defo worth a watch.

And Megan has some great bits in it, the dancing up the hall my personal favourite, if you are into that “child’s play, Chucky” kinda thing.
