Who won what, Thursday 17th August. Dan is the Main Man, Crushy wins again.

Morning.

Another brief write up today as I continue to try & get back in the groove. I was very pleasantly surprised yesterday to receive a few direct messages saying they were pleased to see the reports back, albeit in truncated form for the moment. "Views" were around 100, which is about average for midweek, so I was heartened by that.

A month ago, to the very day, @DanTheMan6 ran 3rd in the Main, since when he's played just 5 MTT's - 4 of them Mains - without troubling the judges, but he came good last night & took Hitman Main which seems to be his best ever score. Nice one Dan, you really are the man.

Big big win in the Mini for @G0L3ER1 who was playing just his 6th MTT in 5 months, 4 of which were Freerolls, the other two being Minis in which he finished a modest 222/254 & 267/272. Only played 47 MTT's lifetime & this was a course record for him.

In some ways a disappointing night for the ridiculously youthful looking @loololollo who after 3 wins & a 2nd on Wednesday, could only manage 1 win & 1 2nd last night, in Quickdraw & Sheriff respectively. The Sheriff winner was @Rocket919

It was, sadly, a thinly contested Sheriff (15 + 1) & it emerged this morning that the Sheriff satellite programme had to be removed recently (except for All-Ins) due to players "flipping". As you sow you reap springs to mind.

Other heavy hitters with wins last night were @AlexaAJ (Mega) & @GSmith13 (Turbo).

A thread debut for @Madcam21 who was single tabling & playing his first MTT after a 4 day absence.

@Stickleb1 took 9 @ 9 for the 2nd time this year, he also won a Mini Hitman last Autumn.

That's about it for today, do make sure you enjoy your weekend.

They were scrapped quite a while ago I believe? I suggested adding some sats for it in feedback section last month.

As opposed to scrapping satellites and having the tourney overlay & run less often, would it be worth increasing the min number of players for the satty to run &/or issuing warnings/timeouts to players flipping to make them overlay? Technically that is collusion but against SkyPoker rather than a player.

Or perhaps it’s beyond that point now and you’d just be flogging a dead horse anyway. In which case, trying something new might be worth a shot? Like a £40+4 single entry £9pm game with plenty of sats, say a 4k starting stack.

I just miss being able to get into the sheriff or the quickdraw (back when it was £55) in a £12 semi with 3-4 seats gtd. and the £2.60 micro sats too made it not too difficult. no way could i ever buy straight into anything as high as that but the £12 semis made it possible for alot of players
