For voting for Brexit I guess?
Well deserved then (NOT).
I'm a cynic when it comes to big business and its "support" for campaigns. Simply because big business tends to support whatever is best for that particular business, rather than anything more noble. And it is a bit unfair to single out someone who was voting for self-interest on the side I don't like. As opposed to those that were just as biased in their opposition to Brexit.
Spoons is a UK Company. Almost entirely reliant on UK sales, as opposed to Europe. Whose major competitors were almost all European-based. No more self-interest than Nissan wanting to be able to flog cars in Europe.
It would be nice to think that all honours are awarded on objective "do good" criteria. But a whole load are not. That's the way it is.

Well I don't know for sure, but there are very strong rumours to that effect. Anyway, we'll know by the weekend, as I assume the New Year Honours List will be published on Sunday or Monday latest.
