I'm guessing you are trying to use the £2.50 BuildABets gained by qualifying for the Sky Bet Club.
I believe these are only available to use on football matches. They allow you to bet on multiple outcomes within a match. That is, goals, corners, bookings and shots etc.
Just click the BuildABet tab near the top of any game and add two or more options to your betting slip. The price will increase as you add more options.
They expire in 7 days so be careful.
Was a lot better/easier when they just did a free £5 with no expiry.

The more wagers you make the greater potential returns - but of course the less likely you are to be able to WIN.
I agree, the free bet should be use a before.
Since SKYBET changed to the BUILDABET REWARD, I haven't once bet the required amount to receive the new REWARD
....... and I used to get the Free bet every week before
