    Can't help thinking quite a few posters (nae names) could do with resitting primary school, never mind further\higher..

    It would be a sad reflection on the education system if you didn't learn anything at college or university. However, at college you are still being taught whereas at university you were left to your own devices and the lecturers were concentrating on their own research and work, giving lectures was simply a waste of their time and an irritation to some of them. University taught me to work on my own and also that spending every night in the bar wasn't condusive to getting a good degree.
