Morning.
This day last year
"Wonderful scenes last night, as @aynaricol, streaming on Twitch for only the 2nd time, won the Main. It was her 2nd Main Event win (both Hitmans), the first was just days shy of 6 months ago, she's also been 2nd twice. Not quite her biggest win, that was a £5,000 UKOPS Xmas Mini in 2021, but only a few quid less. There's more though, as she won Reload last night too, as well as 6th in a £500 BH, & just to show her range of abilities, ran 4th in a little PLO8 comp. I could not be more pleased, her ability to cope with the slings & arrows of misfortune in poker is what impresses me most, as she takes her beats like a grown-up rather than bellyaching as so many bad losers do. Proper poker player. The drinks are on @aynaricol in Brighton.
@BRADERS11 seems to be making waves & has been cashing left right & centre of late. On Wednesday he was 2nd in the Main & 3rd in 9 @ 9, last night he won the Mini & was 2nd in 9 @ 9.
@bossquaid is another enjoying a rich vein of form. Last night he won 9 @ 9, & technically that was a double on the day, as he won a £300 BH in the early hours. Was 3rd in the Rebuy BH too.
@podraic has been making a lot of featured FT's but not getting the wins (2nd in a Summit & two Mains) but took last night's Quickdraw. His only other featured win this year was a £1k BH, but I sense the wins will come soon.
I can't recall ever mentioning @scooby78 before, but as he won last night's 7 @ 7 I had a bit of a search & discovered two awesome stats - it was the 10th (TENTH) time he's won 7 @ 7, & he's also won Reload 9 times.
In a similar vein, @Adored won last night's Mega, his 3rd Mega win, just pipping @NOSTRI at the post.
Finally, @Essexphil became the first player to win 3 seats to next week's Brighton SPT."

Where did everyone go last night - surely they were not all watching Arsenal? The £5,000 Predator Main missed by a ridiculous £1,160, & there were also misses in the Mini, £500 BH, £1,000 BH, Sheriff, 9 @ 9 & Turbo. Maybe time of month, I don't really know, but a reminder I suppose that Spring & Summer are on their way & the inevitable seasonal cycle has begun.
That underwhelming Main went to @Rstinson97 & to make his night he won his entry via a £7.20 satellite. Runner-up was a real blast from the past, @CoxyLboro who I last saw playing Cash at 235 Manchester a year or two ago. Chris has been with us since 2007 & seems to do OK at both cash & MTT's, & has been to Vegas with us.
@jkeeble won his first headline MTT in taking the Mini, although he's made a Mini Ft previously.
The Sheriff FT was the usual collection of big names, with @GFKIJKLL taking the top spot & the likes of @bigfatfish @MikeyW94 @cabbaz & @SoLack all vying for the win, but there was one gatecrasher in the form of @Adam2101 who ran 2nd. He won a Mega a while back & made the FT of the Sunday night £6k BH in December, but that's about it as far as I can see.
The £1k Rebuy BH went to @000Puh4u, an alias which reminded me of this wonderful scene from "The Gentleman" involving "Phuc"...
@FeelGroggy won 9 @ 9 & ran 4th in the Main, & it's good to see him playing the MTT schedule here most nights. Annoyingly (for me) he seems to have blocked his Sharky stats, which makes life a bit awkward for me.
A week ago @Blainaboys ran 2nd in Quickdraw then disappeared, only to return last night & win the Turbo, the third time he's won it inside a month. Was a real tough FT which included @NChanning in 5th, sadly he went home empty-handed.
@TOONGAZZA continued his sequence of winning the nightly £200 guaranteed PLO8 once a month, with @steveysee in 2nd.
7 @ 7 went to @SMck79 who joined Sky Poker just a week ago & has only played a dozen MTT's. Solid start.
Two more players booked their passage to next week's SPT Brighton, @L_L_S_B & @Puzzyflaps, the latter being an alias which I'm quite sure would reduce Richard Orford to his usual juvenile giggles & comments.
