This day last year
"The Main went to @bungle72 who has been here some 13 years. Not much info about him in the domain, but I'm fairly sire this must be his best ever result, or almost so. He came along to an SPT at Luton back in the day, maybe 10 years ago, the same one that the late John McCririck attended. @whitters95 only played the Main, nothing else (well nothing else on Sky Poker) and took 2nd place, collecting just shy of £800. Nice work for a £33 outlay. He's a serious "Live" player & had two nice wins at the recent GUKPT Blackpool.
Heaven help any poker commentator who has to pronounce the name of the Mini winner, @Rxxaxiuk. He has multi wins in both Reload & MidEx, but I don't think he's ever won a Mini before.
1st in Mega & 3rd in MidEx suggests @Groucho64 really made his marx last night.
After spending a good few hours playing a bunch of Heads Up Hypers - 12 or 13 of them - @Jeni82 moved across to the MTT arena & took down Reload, taking an impressive 24 Head Prizes.
@tonyp142 must be proper minted, he had another good night, winning Turbo & 4th in the Main.
It's been a pleasure to see @destinycod playing MTT's here all this week, and he's done OK, winning a Main, 3rd in BWBH, 3rd in a Reload, then won last night's Quickdraw.
After playing DYM's most of the evening, @Loverrrr switched to the MTT lobby, entered exactly one Tourney - 9 @ 9 - & won it. Nice.
@Hoyski has been mostly AWOL this week but turned up last night & managed a win double, 7 @ 7 & a £500 BH.
P1 W1 was the record of @fiers5527 last night, as he single tabled to 1st place in the Rebuy BH.

Traffic improved as the evening progressed, culminating in the £1,000 Turbo making £1,890 & the £1,00 Quickdraw coming in at £1,840. Both of those are close to the very top of their run-rate. By contract, the 19.35 £500 BH missed by a ridiculous £150. Avenger Main was just about bang on the number, while the Mini did very well indeed.
It was Super Seniors day in the Main, with @bromley04 getting home ahead of @ufud @Solack & @goldnballz. Things are looking up for Adam @bromley04 , he collected over £1,500 for winning this, and his beloved Burnley are on their best run of the season with 5 points from their last 3 games. Fun times ahead today though as they visit Everton, who are managed by their old gaffer, Sean Dyche. As is often the case, @ufud was playing £50, £100 & £200 HU Hypers alongside his MTT's. For Keith @goldnballz in 3rd is was far & away his best result of 2024.
@daldo17 won Avenger Mini for the 2nd time, the first occasion being in late 2022. It was only the eighth MTT he's played on Sky Poker in 2024. From 945 MTT's played those two Avenger Mini victories are daldo's best two results lifetime. In 2nd was our old friend @SoLack & you will have seen that he also made the Main FT (3rd) so he picks up a very handy £750 from the FTJ. He must be loaded, on Friday he was 3rd in BWBH for £490, on Sunday he ran 5th in the Major for £828, & last night 3rd in the Main (£465), 2nd in the Mini (£412) plus of course £750 from the FTJ. That lot comes to the best part of £3,000. MBN to be Solly. In 3rd was @_burnsy_ who won the 18.30 £!k BH a few nights ago.
Exactly 4 weeks ago, @BillyPckle enjoyed his best result here to date when winning BWBH, & last night he repeated the trick, winning it again. I rarely watch NLH, as most of you know I'm a 4/5 card man, but I watched Mr Pckle a few times & he strikes me as a cut above, & certainly more than useful.
@Ironpump1 continues to enjoy his occasional MTT adventures & took down 9 @ 9 on his first visit to the MTT streets for around 10 days. Has some cracking scores on his CV, including 1st & 2nd in Sunday Majors, & 1st in a big Sharpshooter Main which was worth almost £2,000 to him as it was mid-boomlet.
@Asho28 took the £1k BH to notch up his first Featured MTT win of the month. More will follow in due course.
Finally, congrats to @tiimot1987 who completed a hat-trick of 7 @ 7 wins last night, the previous two being in 2018 & 2021. Guess he'll next win it in 2027 then.
It's Saturday, Norwich v Ipswich & Brighton v Arsenal both await, separated only by an afternoon nap. What a life, eh?
