    I've no idea.

Terrible, isn't it? Details of his background & past are emerging, problems with someone from an "Escort Agency", getting someone's dog drunk (?), some sort of problem with drugs & God knows what else.

All very unedifying. This is an MP, someone the general public are supposed to trust.

"bad people locked me in my room at 3am & demanded £5,000"? Huh? Well until he further enlightens us, speculation as to what all that is about is going to be rife. Hard to imagine it was just a late night whist-drive.

He is claiming the £5k demand was because he had thrown up in their flat. Although he hasn't gone into detail about why he had met these "bad people" and gone back to their flat.

So much easier than saying he needed to pay for his Class A's ;)

What I find interesting is exactly why the Tory Central HQ has sat on this for 3 months and done absolutely nothing.

This isn't the other side bringing all this up. It is a 78-yr-old lifetime Tory activist.

I havent read about this in any depth, but he apparently borrowed £14k under similar circumstances, some years ago, which he hasnt returned.

He is claiming the current story is untrue yet his agent did draw £6.5k in cash, out of his bank the following day, as the ransom had increased.

Should our MPs rally be on Grindr?
