This day last year
"Never give up goes the saying. A heartening result in the Main which went to @coco3461 who has been here 12 years & played 5,500 games. Biggest previous cash was £325 for 5th in a Gold Rush Main almost 6 years ago, in late 2017, so this was their biggest ever cash by a factor of almost 4. So his Sharky looks a treat this morning, & I bet Coco is chuffed to bits. Single tabled it too, never even played a satellite. Love it.
@kevkevk565 must be keen. after winning the Mini, he stayed on site & played his last game that started at 0130 this morning - & was then back on site to play Turbo BH's at 0630 & 0730 this morning. There's a man who loves his poker.
@68Trebor has been running a bit thin since 5th in a Main two weeks ago, but bounced back to form last night, taking down the 9 @ 9, & also 4th in Mega which he got into via a satellite.
In the Mega, @only1ash played his first & only MTT for a week & binked the win. Runner-up was @destinycod who also ran 6th in 9 @ 9.
In the same vein, @Pokersami played his first & only MTT since 13th April & made it a winning return in the Turbo.
48 hours after collecting £750 from the FTJ (4th in Main, 1st in Mini) @Arrogant was back in the winner's enclosure after winning Quickdraw.
The unfamiliar @ALIEN982 took 7 @ 7.
There was a lovely 24 hour double for @tilting who after winning Tuesday's 9 @ 9 returned last night to take the Rebuy BH.
With 73 entries & a £365 prize pool, the Omahi Hi Lo was right at the top of it's range, with good old @weecheez1 taking the top spot. Not seen him since pre-COVID days, so I'm hoping we might see him again at an SPT soon, he's a fun guy."

The biggest first prize of the night was in Summit, with £1,626 going to @FlynTimber. Been here 10 years & fairly low volume, maybe a dozen MTT's per week on average, but does astoundingly well. April was fairly typical for him, with wins in Sunday Major, Summit & Mini, & two weekday Main Event FT's, finishing 2nd & 6th. Last night was his sixth Summit win, he's also won BWBH 4 times, as well as ten weekday Mains. Runner-up was @SoLack, & that was the 2nd time in a fortnight he's run 2nd in Summit. April also included 2nd in a Major, & 2nd in a Mini, though he did win Avenger Main early in the month which was worth over £1,700 to him.
Quite a surprise in Gold Rush Main which went to @skid_marks, an alias which I vey much doubt refers to tyre tracks. Been here 10 years & played just 13 MTT's, and apart from two satellites to the Major on Sunday (no luck) has not played an MTT here for 4 months.
A similar shock result in the Mini which went to @juk who has been here 3 years & only managed 56 MTT's so far & until last night had never troubled the judges. 2nd was @StayOrGo who you know all about.
In yesterday's write-up I mentioned Mini runner-up @zzgoose as we had not heard from him on the Forum for a while, well he was back last night with two nice results, 1st in Reload & 4th in 7 @ 7.
@DUTCHESS62 has had 2 wins in 24 hours, Monday's 7 @ 7 & last night's Mega. Double Dutchess perhaps.
A similar story for @gman71 who won Monday's 9 @ 9 & last night's MidEx.
@tayb has taken 4 years to play just 8 MTT's (plus 29 DYM's) & had their first MTT win last night by taking Turbo from a strong FT which included @AlexaAJ @Limp2Lose & @newdaddy.
The @Doubleme heater continued, & in the Vegas Quarter he was one of 4 who won seats to Sunday's Semi Final, the others being @HANSON @leSurge & @blindpoet, with £28.20 going to 5th placed @carravagio which is almost enough to pay for 3 more Quarter Finals.
1st & 2nd in the Elim Fr were @baxter21 & @terrytwomore, & that was enough to propel them to 1st & 3rd in the Leaderboard. UNFOOKINREAL as Terry might & usually does say.
