Morning.
This day last year
"Solid traffic again, with the £4k Main making £5,700 (it was £5,670 the previous night) & the £1,500 Reload coming up just shy of £2,000. School holidays start in a few weeks, so best enjoy it whilst we can.
Out of the blue, @mazzei, who has not played a single MTT here for 3 years & 2 months, turned up & 1 tabled his way to 1st place in the Main. Has been here since 2007 but played very little in recent years as far as I can see. Almost as remarkable, but by contrast, runner-up @norbert04 only signed up to Sky Poker yesterday, and played 3 MTT's, with finishing positions of 2nd in the Main, 6th in Mega & 4th in Turbo, so 3 games, 3 FT's on his first night here. Live one alert. Completing a hat-trick of eyebrow arching results, @HAYSIE made the Main FT for the second straight night, 3rd on Tuesday, 6th last night. How do these things happen?
Reliable as clockwork, @kalooki8 polls up almost every night & plays the Mini, nothing else. In fact, how about this for a stat - his last 291 MTT's have ALL been the Mini. He won it last night, and that was the 8th time he's done so. Deserves a medal for persistence.
@Babayaga00 is another relative newbie - February of this year -with just one win (Quickdraw) until last night, so 1st place in Mega, 6th in Turbo & 3rd in Quickdraw rather suggests his best ever night.
A stunning double by @THEHOFF07 who won Tuesday's 7 @ 7 & repeated the trick last night. 4th was @LittleGJ who won Tuesday's £1k BH.
@lwwl has had a decent June, with 3rd & 4th places in Main events, and came out best in last night's 9 @ 9.
@Joshb1ll has taken 3 years to play a grand total of 4 MTT's - 2 of which were this week - & broke his duck by winning MidEx.
In the Elim Freeroll, a great effort by @poppy765 to finish 3rd. Kudos also to @Duesenberg in 8th though he took a shed-load of bounties & now sits 2nd in the Leaderboard, just 3 behind leader @Curt360x27 with just tonight left.

With England playing (playing?...) at 8pm, traffic was, as expected, bad, with around £2,400 of misses, although £1,400 of that came from Summit. Mini & Mega both had reduced guarantees, which they covered but 9 @ 9, despite a reduced guarantee, still missed by £165. Meh, the sooner the Euros are over the better. Judging by the insipid performances by England so far, they'll be coming home soon so that will help.
Curiously, perhaps, the Main covered, with @jobby762 taking top spot. A remarkable result actually, it was just their 6th MTT this month - & the second time they've won the Main this month, the previous one being Sharpshooter. Most impressive. 2nd was @Gutshotter who earlier this month won the Mini version. @HUGHMANS got in on the cheap, via a £1.80 All-In sat & ended up 3rd for ~£336. @ILIKE2FISH was another who got in via a £1.80 All-In sat & he ended up 4th for £220. He also satted into Summit on the cheap, & managed a nice little win later in the evening in a £300 BH.
The Mini had a reduced £1,000 guarantee, with the 95 rated @FlynTimber taking 1st place and @AlexaAJ in 6th, with Alexa making up for it by winning Mega.
As ever, Summit was a Big Boys benefit, with @Natnug beating the likes of @podraic @loololollo & @bearlyther
@Swifteyyeu took the 9 @ 9 to complete a win double, having already won an early evening £300 BH. I get the impression he's & youngster, & he's coming along nicely & should do well if he does not over-reach himself.
@Rxxaviuk is closing in on 10,000 games here & celebrated by winning Reload.
The £200 PLO8 had the smallest field I've ever seen it have, just 40 entries, which was bang on the guarantee. It always does very well although the trash talk most nights is nothing short of an embarrassment & is certainly affecting the numbers. Last night's winner was @Annie1964 who was winning it for the 3rd time in 7 weeks, in fact they won it twice in 4 days early last month.
Think that's about it for today. Tonight's 8pm Euros games are Czech Republic v Turkey, & Georgia v Portugal, so maybe MTT traffic will be slightly better this evening.
