"Lovely & busy last night, and after a week in which the Mains have not always performed well, the £8k Avenger Main made £8,700, the £4,000 Mini hit £4,530, & perhaps best of all, the £5k BWBH made £6,700 which is at the very top of it's range. The £1k Quickdraw did rather well too, £1,860. That's what we like to see.@Itsover4u is someone we don't see as often as we used to - responsibilities of a young family etc - so we only shows up every few days, & when he does he usually plays Main & Mini. He won last night's Main, and his previous two Main event efforts were Saturday's Sharpshooter (15th) & Tuesday's Gold Rush (7th) so he's been knocking on the door. In 2nd, & on his first night back after a 6 week absence, was @UnEuropean, easily his best 2024 score. @benc completed the podium, he's not on Sharky so it's hard to keep track, but I fancy he's made a few decent FT's recently.
Playing just his 5th MTT since November, @boarbag06 pocketed £772 for winning the Mini, he had a deep run in the Main too, eventually finishing 30th.
As already noted, BWBH made a big number, £6,600, with @Gambelo finishing 1st. He does amazingly well & in 2024, in addition to last night's BWBH, he's already won a Marksman Main, three Sheriffs & two Turbos. Following him home was a galaxy of big-hitters which included @SwannLoL @Thoich @duonross @Sharki0 & @Doooobs. I refuse to say anything nice about @Doooobs as earlier in the day he pipped me right on the line for 2nd place in a Cheltenham Tipster Comp, which meant I missed out on £80. Even worse, my selections earned a handsome profit of £360 (£20 less than his) which sounds great but I never backed any of them...
For the 2nd time in less than a week, @Lee_Boy won MidEx.
Congrats to @gogogadget who in winning 9 @ 9 had his best result of 2024. His best two scores lifetime were 1st in a May 2023 Gold Rush Main & 6 months earlier, 1st in an Avenger Mini.
@cidul has been with Sky Poker just 5 or 6 months, & took his first trophy last night, winning the £1k BH. Only pervious Featured FT was 2nd in a Reload at end of February.
@Turner2403 & @Mugathug both sprung minor surprises winning 9 @ 9 & Reload respectively.
The Usual Suspects were well in evidence, with, in addition to those already namechecked, there were wins for @NOSTRI (£500 BH), @Thoich (7 @ 7), @Natnug (Rebuy BH), @AlexaAJ (Quickdraw) & @cabbaz (Turbo).
That's it for today, another sporting Saturday in prospect starting with Wolves v Coventry in the FA Cup which I fancy will be a bit tasty."
MTT traffic was so-so last night. Total overlay in the featured events amounts to an even £400, split roughly equally between Sheriff, Reload & Turbo, so all in that 9pm- 10pm slot.
@ChipDiddy0 is having his best week ever here I fancy. After winning Sunday's Major, he followed up on Tuesday by winning Quickdraw, & last night he took the Main. Been here over 10 years, was a net loser the first 5 years but since then has suddenly powered ahead & is now over £20,000 ahead at an ABI of £35 if Sharky is to be believed. Definitely not shy in the chat-box.... I'm not quite sure why some - many - players are so abrasive in their Table Chat, but it seems to be very common these days, almost as if that's part of the reason for playing, to wind folks up & have a good ruck. I play a lot "Live" these days & see/hear very little of it. Guess folks are not so brave in real life. The much-improved @Chalky666 was 2nd, & it was great to bump into him & chat in Brighton last weekend. In 5th was another we saw down in Brighton, @craigcu12.
Exactly a week after running 3rd in Hitman Main @PICKLE33 dropped down to the Mini version & took 1st place. Doing well of late & won the Rebuy BH 10 days ago too. In 4th was @craigcu12 & as he ran 5th in the Main he picks up £150 in cash from the FTJ. Worth noting that several players were in with a shot of FTJ cash last night - @craigcu12 (5th & 4th), the shy & modest @ChipDiddy0 (1st & 13th) & @Awoken (9th & 19th).
7 @ 7 winner @Mumbledore seems to have kicked on the last month. Made FT's of Hitman Main (twice, in consecutive weeks), & was 11th in it last night, 7 @ 7 (twice) & Rebuy BH. In 5th was @terrytwomore & Ladbrokes go "1/33" that he wrote "UNFOOKINREAL" in the Table Chat Box as he departed.
@neenio is very solid indeed & won the Rebuy BH. Quite a day for him, played just 3 MTT's here (his first for a week & only 2nd time he's played MTT's here for over a month) & managed two wins - a £250 BH & the Rebuy BH - and had a deep run into 12th in the Rebuy BH. He's now accumulated over £100,000 of profit on Sky Poker with a 43% ROI over a 21,000 sample size. Most impressive, very few can boast better than that. 3rd was @Traianus1 who won MidEx two nights ago. Not quite sure what to make of that Alias.
Tuesday's Gold Rush winner @loosecamel pipped @Awoken in Sheriff after the latter won his seat in a £3 All-In Sat.
It never took long for @Awoken to get revenge on @loosecamel, with our Ungulate friend only managing 7th in Quickdraw, with the trophy going to @Awoken. Was a very decent sesh for @Awoken, 1st in Quickdraw, 2nd in Sheriff, 9th in Main & 19th in Mini.
@NIVVYDOH won Reload & was 2nd in an early evening Rebuy BH. Has been cashing consistently in recent weeks.
@Guavs has shown improved form this month & had a PB last week when making the FT of Marksman Main, & enjoyed his first ever featured MTT win last night when taking Turbo.
As I noted a few days ago, @ughx3000cx is becoming a winning machine, & took MidEx yet again last night, then ran 2nd in a £300 Turbo BH. Won Reload 2 nights earlier, & was 2nd in Reload 7 days before that. I note that @River_Fox was 5th, had quite a long but successful day, 1st & 2nd in £100 Timed affairs, 2nd in Head Hunter, 4th in a £150 Turbo & 5th in MidEx. Was back on site early this morning & made the FT (5/37) in a £150 Turbo. Well done Foxy.
The Rewards Freeroll winner was @28455712 which might just be the PMID number for Macrophages' Role in Tissue Disease and Regeneration. Then again I suppose it's more likely to be his 'phone number or his Co-Op Dividend number.
