Got to admire Trump's ability to find people even more stupid than he is.
No scientist is going to find the "cause" for autism. Simply because anyone who has taken the time to read anything on the subject from someone with relevant qualifications knows that there is no 1 single cause.
The reasons diagnoses of autism have increased are extremely simple. So simple that even a cretin like RFK Junior should be able to understand it. Or at least when he gets a grown up to explain it to him.
1. There have been improvements in diagnostic techniques, and improvements in scientific understanding; and, far more importantly
2. The definition of autism has radically changed. 30 years ago someone classified as "autistic" had a narrow range of significant impairments. Whereas that has been replaced by being on the "autistic spectrum" which includes millions of people who would not have been in the old definition
Whisper it quietly. But several World leaders are quite clearly on the Spectrum...
This is stupid in the extreme, I am not going to argue to be an expert with Autism but I would say I have significant more experience with Autism and knowledge of Autism then most.
Autism is Genetic but is also environmental and is a spectrum. I could say an awful lot on this topic, but in case people havent noticed I have being more pushed for time recently, and do not have the time to go into this in great detail.
I will say though this is one of the most ridiculously stupid things I have heard yet from the Trump Administration.
This is likely because Trump does not want to accept that his son is Autistic and if he does wants to deny its in his blood line and instead claim it was caused by vaccines. So basically he is going to threaten healthcare because he is ashamed of his son.
Btw many of the greatest minds in history have being Autistic, there is nothing to be ashamed of about being Autistic it is not better or worse it is just different.
The conspiracy theory nutjobs remind us that vaccines kill people. And occassionally - very occassionally (1 in x million) - they do. But in doing so, they save millions of lives.
Is that so hard to understand? I suppose if you have the (lack of) intelligence of a conspiracy theorist, it is.

@HAYSIE
LOVED the end of that article, literally lolled. Am not entirely sure if it was intended to be funny or ironic, but it sure was.

When he gets fired, I dont suppose Trump will accept any responsibility for hiring him.

They are quite clearly on something.

This is what happens when you ban vaccines.
