This day last year

"It's Sunday, so you know what that means. Brevity rules, OK?

Traffic was OK, in fact the £6,000 Main made a very healthy £7,020 which, it seems to me, is pretty good considering time of year, clocks have changed & Easter is behind us.

Winner of that big Main was @DOLLY47 who has been here 8 or 9 years but only played a few hundred MTT's. Very little data available, but almost certain this was a personal best. Nice one Dolly. A similar tale for 2nd placed @slimlad, just 32 MTT's in 2 years, & last night was their first appearance since mid-February. Again, a personal best.

Earlier this week @ramsfan won Forum Triple Takedown 3 & netted around £45. Last night was a big step up, winning the Mini & taking home nearly £330. 3rd was @shad8604 who also won a £400 BH that kicked off 15 minutes earlier. Shaddy seems to be making FT's for fun recently, seems to be making several every night.

The £1k BH went to @bobcam, who seems to win Sunday Major seats in the nightly freeroll with great regularity. 4th was the Fastest Milkman in the West, aka @GaryQQQ & as it happens, he was runner-up in the same MTT exactly a year ago today.

Bad timing by @doggychops who returned to Sky Poker MTT's after an absence of 11 months & won the 19.35 NH on the very night it's guarantee was reduced from £500 to £400. No surprise about the guarantee cut to be fair, especially after it missed by a country mile on Friday.

@Hotlove has barely graced these threads before, but seems to be in fine fettle, winning last night's 7 @ 7 just 24 hours after binking a £300 BH.

Incredible scenes in Sheriff as @weecheez1 won a £3 satellite & then went on to win Sheriff itself. No idea if that's a PB but his ABI is just over £3, so to take down a £55 entry MTT is a big deal. He's a smashing lad & I'm chuffed to bits for him.

Finally (sorry, it's Sunday, things to do), @NChanning took down Turbo. Not sure how much we'll see of him next week, as he'll be super busy over at BettingEmporium.com as he'll be doing write ups for every race at the 3 day Aintree Festival including, of course, the National, as well as his annual Masters Golf write-up. I have no idea if he'll find any winners, but I can guarantee you he'll offer value selections. You can't eat value of course, but it's the only way to bet."

Morning.

Just a quickie today, Saturday & all that, & I was up until 3am pokering.

Lovely & busy, with overlay totalling exactly £10 (TEN POUND). That'll do nicely.

@jakescol won Avenger Main, having been 3rd in it 6 weeks ago. Has dominated the 6pm £500 BH this year, winning it repeatedly & also filling almost every FT position. Remarkably, he's now won Avenger Main 3 times, has also won a BWBH. Clearly useful. @JammyFker has been in tip-top form lately & it was more of the same last night, eventually finishing 3rd. @HAYSIE sneaked into 5th place, that's his 5th Main Event FT this year. I can only surmise he gets very lucky.

@mcg899 is no April fool, on Thursday he won Sheriff, last night Avenger Mini. Toughest Mini of the week to win, that one.

Arguably the biggest surprise of the night was BWBH making £5,000. All the £100ers have been struggling, so no idea how that came about. Anyway it was good to see @cpfc_2010 get the win, especially as we don't see much of him these days (just 8 MTT's in the last month) due to real-life (work mainly) getting in the way of poker. And he'll be pleased to know I've backed Palace at a juicy 18/1 to win the FA Cup. (Currently 9/2). A huge result for the runner-up, @james12212. And a bit of a surprise in 4th as @Swog at last finds a bit of form, he's been running a bit thin, or at least he has here on Sky Poker, he may well be getting the lot on the Big Sites. I hope so, as I like him. A bit.

@eamdon completed one of the weirdest three-timers you'll ever see. His last 3 MTT's over a 10 day timeline were an 04.45 Timed on 24th March, the 10pm Head Hunter 3 days later, & last night's £800 BH - & he won all three. Very rare indeed to see a clean sweep of wins over a 10 day period.

After disappearing from MTT's last August @BooBooTheB reappeared last week & soon got back in the groove, taking last night's 7 @ 7. Had some huge wins back in the day including over £4,000 for 1st place in a 2014 Super Roller. I was still a young man then. Ish.

@72off5uit won a satellite to BWBH but rather than play it took the cash & invested £9.90 of it in 9 @ 9 & got the win. He's gotta be well pleased with himself.

@PTeazle does not get many mentions, but after finishing 6th in Monday's Mini Marksman he won last night's Reload.

After winning two 8pm Mains last year, @nervesof bounced back to form last night with 1st place in Quickdraw.

7 @ 7 went to a player who has an alias I can't even rad, never mind type, with @craigcu12 in 2nd.

Pleased to see two players I respect make the Elim Freeroll Top 6, well done @dameflop & @River_Fox

Amongst those qualifying for the next Vegas Semi was @MAXALLY. Again. He must be hoping for a change of luck.

And finally, in Big Boy Watch, Rebuy BH went to @Sharki0 with @StayOrGo taking Turbo, & Pretty Boy @lJAMESl taking MideX.

That took far longer than I planned, now I'm all behind.
