This day last year
"Traffic was OK. The Major topped £13,000 which is decent for time of year, with just two spots of overlay - Mini Major (as usual) & 5 entries shy in 9 @ 9.
@FlynTimber won the Major, it was his 2nd "Main" win in 2024, but this one, at £3,668 was roughly 4 times what he pocketed for winning a Gold Rush in January. Has won numerous £110 Summits & BWBH's, & been 2nd in a Major & 3rd in a big UKOPS, but last night was a PB in his 10 years here. As it happens, a similar tale for @bossquaid who picked up his biggest payday ever in 2nd place. It was his third Major FT, the previous two resulted in 3rd & 5th places. The win is only a matter of time imo. @Vertigo completed a 1-2-3 of PB's as it was his best result here too, narrowly beating his win in a UKOPS Turbo last November. We can go a step further actually, as it was a PB for 4th placed @toffollo too though he's only played 60 odd MTT's here.
The Mini Major went to @elvisg1972 but as he's excused himself from Sharky, there's not much I can add really.
Another who has reclused themself from Sharky is the excellent @AlexaAJ who had a lovely win double, taking both the £6,000 BH & Quickdraw.
We can add another Sharky absentee whilst we are on the subject, @Natnug, who took the 9 @ 9.
Many congrats to @JohnDoo who won MidEx for the third time in three weeks, and I know he won it at least once last year too.
Last Wednesday @mumsie won the Mini, taking home £210, & he just about beat that last night, collecting £215 for 1st place in the £1k BH. He won las week's MML too, so that is a free £33 Main Event entry up his sleeve as well.
@janis1981 was a little unlucky in the Sharpshooter 10 days ago, eventually finishing 3rd, but made no mistakes last night when winning Turbo.
For the 2nd time in a fortnight, @lukeylund1 won Mega, with @MAXALLY in 5th after winning his seat in a £1.20 All-In Sat.

Overlay amounted to exactly £0, & that follows just £10 on Friday. For the time of year, that's good, though of course it's the sweet spot for time of month (relative to payday) & Deposit Limits (which reset on the 1st of the month).
Sharpy Main went to @Richrash93 who has a solid CV & has already won several MidEx's this year as well as an £800 BH. Must have done well to fend off runner-up @FlynTimber who was making his 7th Main FT this year. Completing the Podium was Coach @Collabo who has a weird habit of telling others how badly they play, which is a very odd thing to do if you think about it. If your opponent is playing poorly, best thing to do is let them continue. I'm sure he means no harm, I just don't think he's ever thought about it. Think he'd soon get the message if he played "Live"...
In the Mini, victory went to @X34, which sounds like a Tesla car but is in fact a bus service which runs from Didcot to Newbury, & that's good, as it gives me an excuse to post some Bus P orn. He mostly 1-tables the Mini most nights, as was the case last night.
It's a similar story with @mowgli11 though in his case it's the £800 BH which he habitually 1-tables & he also got his win last night.
@Froozle won Sheriff, with @weecheez1 running 2nd after winning his seat in an All-In satellite. Cheezy has developed a habit of doing that, & as it happens, exactly a year ago today he won Sheriff having binked an All-In-Sat.
Having been beaten into 2nd in Friday's 7 @ 7 @craigcu12 returned last night & got the win this time. He does quite well at those stakes.
@KOBAC reinforced his good record in early evening stuff with 1st place in Rebuy BH.
Exactly a month since he won Turbo, @Tastysnack was in the winner's circle again, Mega this time. Was 2nd in a BWBH a month or so again too. He has a very impressive but rather odd set of stats in £110 events - he's run 2nd 8 times (4 x Majors, 3 x Summits & 1 x BWBH) without (yet) winning one. And his best ever result was also 2nd, in a £220 UKOPS HR. Seems to suggest that he's due a visit from +ev.
@BooBooTheB wasted no time on resuming his winning form after an 8 month absence, winning Friday's Mega & last night's 9 @ 9.
Reload went to @Reecy0710 who does not get too many featured MTT wins but has registered wins in 7 @ 7 & Turbo.
The puntastically-named @Byrne_Turn joined us last November & so far has played just 7 MTT's & nothing else but he's doing just fine, with 2 deep runs in weekday Mains, 7th in last Sunday's Major & 1st in last night's MidEx.
Big-Boy Watch featured @Froozle (Sheriff) @destinycod (Turbo) & @ChipDiddy0 (Quickdraw).
The PLO8 went to @smartca627 who has always been an absolute Gent in the Table Chat.
