This day last year
"Traffic was quite decent, with the Main making a healthy £5,610 although there were small misses in Mini & 9 @ 9, though not of any significance.
It was the very first 2024 Vegas satellite day yesterday, with a Quarter Final that guaranteed 3 seats into Sunday's Semi. In fact, it got an eye-opening 32 entries which meant SIX seats, plus a bit of cash for 7th.
Starting with that Vegas Quarter, @MISTY4ME @podraic & @ILIKE2FISH all won through, & those are players we are all familiar with. Not so much @blindpoet who had not played an MTT here since this time last year when they twice won seats into Vegas Finals. The other winner was @LN123 who was playing here last night for the first time since this time last year. Quite interesting to see that the Vegas Promo is attracting players who might not otherwise be on site. @MAXALLY seat bubbled but got £18.80 which is enough to fund a few more attempts hopefully. The Quarter runs every night so it will be interesting to see if the numbers hold up.
In the Main, it was that man @Natnug who took the win, & he had one of those nights where he could do little wrong. 1st in the Main, 1st in the £1k Rebuy BH, 3rd in Sheriff, 4rg in Quickdraw & 4th in the £1k BH. Blokes a machine. It's a little frustrating for me that he's absented himself from Sharky as it stops us from having a proper look at his numbers, but of course he has every right so to do. @thedazzman continues to impress, & made his 2nd Main FT of the month last night, 5th in last night's Marksman & 2nd in last Thursday's Hitman. Was 2nd in Marksman Mini last Monday too.
For the second time inside a week we saw a player win a Main one night & the Mini the next, thus missing out on £5,000 FTJ bonus. @FlynTimber was the culprit this time, he won Sunday's Major & last night's Mini.
@jeni82 started 2024 in great form, and by mid-January had already run 2nd in a Main (a PB) & 3rd in a Mini, but went a little quiet after that. Last night though they won 7 @ 7, the third time they've won it inside 12 months, so maybe the Gods of variance are about to smile on Jeni. Variance is such a fickle thing.
Team Heavy Hitter were represented as always, in addition to @Natnug who had two wins & 5 FT's, @destinycod won Mega, @Steed432 took the Sheriff & 9 @ 9 went the way of @bigfatfish
Finally, just a footnote about tonight. Two of the best ever Champions League ties both kick off at 8pm - Arsenal v Bayern, & Real Madrid v Man City, so we might see a bit of a hit to traffic. Seems a bit ridic to have two such great games on the same night at the same time. Such is the world of football."

MTT traffic was pretty good right across the board for the third straight night, although rather surprisingly there was one blemish as Reload missed by £126.
The Major went to Arsenal fan @Alvez11 & it was his 4th Sunday Major Final in the last 6 or 7 weeks, finishing 1st, 2nd, 5th & 6th. Been here forever, won everything. Was a really tough renewal, & all the cashees (15 got paid) were quality players.
The Mini version went to @ozzieowen who is surely having his best year ever. In 5th was @GSmith13 and in fact he was 5th in the Major itself too, so collects a £100 cash bonus from the FTJ. Returning to the winner, @ozzieowen was rampant last night, with 2 1st places - £800 BH & Mini Major - plus 5 other FT's, consisting of 2nd in a £300 BH, 3rd in a £300 BH, 2nd in a £500 BH, 5th in 9 @ 9 & 2nd in a £150 Timed. He's unstoppable right now, the new @Natnug. (Anyone remember him?)
In the £5k BH @phuse blew them all away, with @Upswing 2nd @BEANIE 3rd & @Limp2Lose 4th. It was quite an evening for @phuse who had been MIA from MTT's since late February until last night, & what a return it was, 1st in the £5k BH & 6th in the Major from just 3 MTT's played.
@davidplatt scored again, 7 @ 7 this time, having already won 9 @ 9 & Reload this year, as well as numerous "non-Featured" affairs.
@Maza31 took the Rebuy BH, that's the 2nd time he's made that FT this year, 2nd on the previous occasion. His speciality act is 7 @ 7 though, in which in 2025 alone he's made the FT 6 times - 2 x 1st, 1 x 2nd, 1 x 3rd, 1 x 5th & 1 x 6th.
The serious crew were in good form last night, Big Boy Watch had a whole swathe of winners - 2 for @Natnug (remember him?), in Mega & Sheriff, @snoxx11 took 9 @ 9, @lJAMESl the Turbo, @ChipDiddy0 won Quickdraw & @podraic the MidEx.
@hhammerhea won Reload for the 1,823rd time (approx).
20 runners for the Vegas Semi, with @guvshergil @MARBLEFLAW @Frankson8 @mildsteal0 & @RoilFlush all advancing to next Sunday's Final.
