Here's how the stock markets of China, Germany, UK, Canada, Japan & the USA (respectively) have performed since Trump was inaugurated.

"Numbers held up surprisingly well despite the football season's best two matches so far both being live on TV at 8pm. Only 9 @ 9 & Reload missed, though 9 @ 9 did so by a mile - £234 - which is a lot of money on a £900 guarantee. Main covered with a bit to spare, & the £4,000 Summit made an even £5,000. I thought the Vegas Quarter would struggle to run & so 21 entries (4 seats & cash) was a pleasant surprise.
@jams29 won the Gold Rush Main, it was his second Main event win, the first was also a Gold Rush & was almost exactly two years ago. Last night's one attracted slightly more runners & made £100 more than the 2022 one he won. (There's a thought when Team Doom & Gloom keep talking about reduced prize pools & falling numbers). Been here 12 years & last night's result was his biggest ever score, so there's a memory for @jams29 to preserve. 2nd was @anjie1970 who has been here forever & won everything.
It's a thread debut for Mini winner @Cezron29 who has been here a couple of years without troubling the judges in a featured MTT.
Summit went to @TONY509 and in fact the front three was almost predictable (though not necessarily in that order) - @TONY509 followed by @StayOrGo & then @Swog. @TONY509 won his£110 Summit seat in a £24 satellite, and ran 9th in the Main for a nice bit of profit. His only blank from 4 games played was the Mini where he was out with the washing.
@Vertigo seems to have hit his stride of late, he took last night's 9 @ 9, having made the Sunday Major FT for the last two weeks, finishing 3rd & 6th. In 2nd place was @gogogadget who has a very decent CV which includes a bunch of wins in Main, Mini, Mega & Reload.
No real surprise to see @GREGSTER take Reload, I estimate he's now won it at least two dozen times. Runner-up @aynaricol has won it a good few times too, maybe 8 or 9.
Big night for @hugegoose who won Quickdraw for the 2nd time, and in fact it was a lifetime PB here, worth around £80 more than when they won it in 2021.
@davtherav had a decent session, winning the 19.35 £400 BH & running third in the Rebuy BH.
Winner of the Rebuy BH was @Ironpump1 on his first appearance in the MTT streets since winning last Friday's 9 @ 9.
@ibrown74 won Mega just a day or two since running 2nd in MidEx.
Finally, in the Vegas Quarter, Semi Final seats went to @Cottager @gixxerk4 @tai-gar & @bbMike all of whom would be splendid additions to the Las Vegas raiding party, though they have a few more hurdles to overcome yet.

MTT traffic was not too bad for a Monday, no doubt helped by the poor MNF offering of Leicester City v Newcastle. (Has there ever been a worse PL Managerial appointment than Ruud van Nistelrooy? Despite that, there was a smidgeon of overlay in Mini (£115), Turbo (£10) & MidEx (£20).
A very unusual looking FT in the Main with @TL900 getting the win. Been here 15 years but low volume, with 80% of that volume being in cash games, mostly Spins. Never featured in these threads previously but seems to be profitable. One familiar name on the FT was @style2737 who pretty much only plays big stuff here these days. His last 3 MTT's here have resulted in 5th in Friday's BWBH, 4th in Sunday's Major & 3rd in last night's Main. He'll be off to Vegas soon I imagine.
A much more familiar looking top 3 in the Mini with @bbMike getting home ahead of @seikus & @spearsy136. @bbMike has now won 6 or 7 Minis including two Marksmans, a Predator, an Avenger & a UKOPS. He's handy at the 4 card games too. 2nd & 3rd are both thread regulars, @seikus plays all the big stuff & does very nicely. @spearsy136 only plays at half the average stakes that @seikus does but has a breath-taking 66% ROI based on 14,000+ games if Sharky is to be believed.
7 @ 7 went to @Essexphil who does not play a great deal of online volume these days but seems to retain all his ability. We are very lucky to have him on our Forum, helping to balance some of the nonsense & negativity from 1 or 2 others. In "Live" poker he's had cashes galore, both in the UK (GUKPT, DTD, SPT etc) & in the USA, including the WSOP Main & at Planet Hollywood & The Orleans. He's not without fault though, he's a Spurs fan, which is quite odd for one so intelligent & has absolutely dreadful taste in music. Is often confused with this dreadful man but you may be assured there's no connection.
Rebuy BH went to @FUNKYB31 who was won Reload several times including once earlier this year.
Despite a short schedule @davtherav had a decent night, winning Mega, 2nd in a £300 BH, & 15th in both the Rewards Freeroll & Rebuy BH.
Playing MTT's for the first time in a fortnight @echoman (minus the Bunnies) won Mega. Seem to recall him winning a Marksman Main a while back.
@steed432 seems to be on a charge at the moment, & after 3rd in the 10pm Turbo a week ago & 7th in Sunday's Major, won last night's Turbo & followed up with 2nd in Quickdraw.
Winner of that Quickdraw was @addy79 who went on to run 5th in MidEx & has been doing rather well recently.
@Highflyer9 was the MidEx champ, having finished 12th in the Main earlier in the evening & 5th in a Turbo 48 hours earlier.
Seat winners in the Sunday Major Freeroll were @Eva_ @glencoelad & @ScottyKaye. The last named will give his table companions a running commentary the like of which they've never seen or heard before....

Pretty sure I have mentioned this before. But this thread (rightly) gets a wider audience.
I have only played at the Orleans in Vegas twice. I thoroughly recommend it for anyone over there this Summer. But those two times have created 2 incredible memories, and encapsulate everything I love (and find frustrating) about poker.
The first time was a PLO8 tournament. Big field. And get sat next to @Tikay10 But it got better. A thoroughly nice (and rather less experienced) player @pompeynic ran really deep. Splendid. Genuinely as happy as if it had been me.
The 2nd was weird. Started running like you wouldn't believe. With 19 left I had 1 million chips, 2nd had 800,000 and the rest about 1 million between the lot of them. And I knocked the 2nd place guy out. Then ran like you probably would believe and finished 13th
