"Saturday, and with an abundance of Live sport on TV, I am going to make this as brief as I can.
The £8,000 Avenger Main came in just 3 entries shy of £9,000 which was most pleasing to see. Winner was the gnarly veteran @Solack & it comes just a week after he was 3rd in Avenger Main & 2nd in the Mini & so collected a £750 bonus. Last night's win was worth ~£1,750 to him, & to put that in context with his record on Sky Poker, in his time here he's had around 40 bigger scores.
The Mini went to another big winner on Sky Poker, @StayOrGo. Later in the evening he won Quickdraw too, & for good measure he won a £110 seat into BWBH via a £24 satellite and had a deep run in Avenger Main which was worth £176. At one stage he must have been sweating the FTJ & I'm sure Sky Poker are quietly pleased he missed out, as that would have been 3 nights on the bounce that FTJ cash has been paid out.
Many congrats to @oilyrag on what was a near perfect night. Played just three MTT's, and after bricking the first (96/199) he then won the other two, the Rebuy BH & Turbo. Splendid stuff Mr Rag.
So we already had two "Win Doubles" ( @StayOrGo & @oilyrag ) & in fact we had a triple win double as @ozzieowen did it too, winning Mega & MidEx.
Dog Bloke @rspca12 took the £110 entry BWBH. Again, if we look at his overall record here, that result is not even in his Top 20 biggest paydays.
Other familiar faces who notched wins were @steveysee (£400 BH), and @claudel9 (9 @ 9).
4 card specialist @jasonAA made it three wins in three different formats in 24 hours, taking a little PLO MTT on Thursday, then a PLO8 one last night as well as 7 @ 7 which is a NLH BH. Proper versatile.
After a slightly disappointing turnout on Thursday, the Vegas Quarter bounced back nicely last night, getting 24 runners. That means this week's numbers, starting on Monday, have been 32, 21, 23, 14 & 24 last night. That seems pretty good to me, & Sunday's first Semi should be a belter. 4 seats were on offer last night, & they went to @MARBLEFLAW @mildsteal0 @Alfie4paws & @TIMBER. Seat-bubbler last night, & not for the first time this week, was @MAXALLY but £37.60 should ease the pain & pay for 3 or 4 more attempts.

With Man U, Spurs, Rangers & Chelsea all in European Quarter Final action, MTT traffic was bound to take a bit of a hit, & so it proved with £699 of overlay spread across 8 different events. Incidentally, of those 4 Teams in Europe, only one - Chelsea - won.
In the Main we saw quite a rarity as the same player - @roytheboy7 - won it for the 2nd week on the spin. He's also got Avenger & Sharpshooter wins on his CV, a UKOPS too. 2nd was @shad8604 who was cashing all over the shop, as well as 2nd in the Main, he was 4th in Sheriff, made the FT of two x £300 Turbo BH's, finishing 1st & 3rd, was 3rd in a £150 Turbo & 9th in Reload. 3rd & making his third FT this month was Boring Bloke @mattprawn who made FT's of both BWBH & Sheriff last week.
Winner of the Mini was @henners10 & in looking his stats up & was a little startled to see that over a meaningful sample size of 14,500 games at an ABI of £11.20 he has an ROI of 66.5%. Wow. OK, Sharky numbers can be a bit off, but even so, this fella must be well handy, & he is well into 6 figures of profit from Sky Poker MTT's if we are to believe Sharky. 4th was @eon1961 who also won a Sunday Major seat in the Freeroll.
@Frankson8 won the £800 BH & of course I'm delighted for him, but he played over 40 games yesterday (mostly satellites) in a 13 hour session & that's way too much imo. I've been guilty of this addiction in the past, many of us have, but I eventually realised that there's more to life - MUCH more - than just clicking buttons on a poker site & hoping against hope to break even. There is so much in life to wonder at & be grateful for, but whilst we are glued to our computer screens life is racing past. His best result to date is 3rd in a Sharpshooter Main, & this year he's notched up wins in the £800 BH (twice) & the Rebuy BH.
7 @ 7 went to @DerekHoof who therefore gets his first ever thread mention in his 6 years here, although he's fairly low volume, just 378 MTT's.
@Lemonsole - what a lovely alias that is - took the Rebuy BH. He's had a few FT's in early evening stuff but really he's a cash game player, that's where 95% of his action is.
Mega went to @deloresedd who pops up every now & then with decent results including a Hitman Main a while back.
After a deep run into 8th place in Wednesday's Predator Main, @FAS got it right last night & won the Turbo.
@bar4004 had a deep run into 10th in the Main whilst at the same time - or even simultaneously - won 9 @ 9.
@Venner1972 likes to 1 or 2 table around mid-evening & won Reload having run 3rd in a small Deepie the night before.
Just 6 entries for the Vegas Quarter, with @TommyD & @ILIKE2FISH both advancing into Sunday's Semi.
In Big Boy Watch, there were wins for @Froozle (Sheriff), @Jscorgie (Quickdraw) & @Fabraclass (MidEx). That's some run that @Fabraclass is on, yesterday was only the 10th of the month & he's already notched up wins in Quickdraw, Reload, Mini, MidEx & 7 @ 7.
