THANK YOU TIKAY

This one is blindingly obvious and hundreds of different players could have started it, but no one has so here I am...

I wanted to thank Tony @Tikay10 for all he has done on Sky Poker since year dot. I've been using the site since 2009 and one of the features that has always put the site ahead of others is the great community section and obviously that is coming to an end in a few weeks time.

I can't imagine how many threads Tikay has started, how many questions he has answered, how many rows he has diplomatically resolved while simultaneously keeping the community updated on who was won what on the days featured tournaments.

He has been a key part of the Sky Poker Tour events, produced really enjoyable diaries on his life in poker and messages from Vegas when he has been looking after the Sky Players and when he's gone deep in some tournaments himself.

Tikay I hope you will have a new role with Sky going forward and the very best for you and Gill in the future.

It's strange to comprehend how you can miss something 'virtual' when you're going to miss interaction with people. some of who I don't even know their real name but I admit I will and I wish Tikay and everyone I've come across all the best and much success for the future.

Brrrrrrr (Pete)

I agree with everything OP wrote. Well done Tikay, you've been a fine ambassador for Sky and UK poker. I remember starting out online and watching the Sky Poker channel and learning a lot, along with wanting to hear Tikay analyse my play on the tv tables. It was a big part of helping me learn to love the game and the forum has helped retain my loyalty to Sky in recent years.

Lovely worded post @Brrrrrrr and great thread start.

Its always been said Sky poker is nothing without TKs involvement I think that's true.

The humour and diplomacy he brings with him is award wining and appreciated.

The depths of his 'who won what' is laced with humour and innuendos of Booker Prize nominating standards.

Whatever the future I wish him the best, If that involves being a front of Sky poker in some capacity then the chances of it surviving are pretty much guaranteed. Without him, its look quite bleak and I think it could be a deal breaker.

My utmost admiration for a man who has done such an impossible job, so superbly well, over so long, and with such patience.
    He is impossible to dislike.

Isn't it amazing that someone who likes trains and concrete can actually be a really interesting and likeable guy? Who would have thought that? :D

I know he has done an amazing job as moderator of this site but I also fondly remember watching the Sky Poker TV channel as a complete newcomer to poker and his tips and insights were invaluable.
