This day last year
"Vegas Finals night is always one of the best nights of the year on Sky Poker & last night did not disappoint. Decent traffic across the board, all three Vegas sats (Quarter, Semi & Final) did OK, & we saw a great final.
So, let's start with Vegas, & packages were won by @BillyPckle @CoxyLboro & @rspca12. The Vegas package bubble is the biggest & worst bubble of the year on Sky Poker, & that dubious honour went to @jessieak who exited in truly brutal fashion, when his A-K AIP v 8-6 hit his K but still managed to lose, with Billy's 8-6 flopping two pair & eventually filling up. His only consolation was £600 for 4th, which will pay for a whole lot of satellite entries, & maybe he'll have better luck in subsequent Vegas Finals. Hope so, he's a decent bloke. The whole Vegas Final seem to be played in good spirits, with folks taking their beats like adults, & it was a delight to watch.
@DunkinFish won the Major. Think his claim to fame is winning the big Sunday night BH at least 4 times, including in successive weeks in September 2019. Qualified for last night's Vegas Final too but it did not go too well & he was an early departure.
As you know if you somehow plough through these write-ups every day, @loololollo had a great winning streak last week only to brick everything on Saturday to end the run. Well he made up for it last night with a win double - Mini Major & Quickdraw. Earlier reports that he had a treble were incorrect, they were due to some sort of brain-fade by whoever writes this guff.
@goldnballz will have been disappointed to bust the Vegas Final again, 10th this time, but best not remind him about last year as he gets a bit cranky. Anyway, he got some consolation last night by winning MidEx.
7 @ 7 went to @Swifteyyeu who has had a decent month, as he's had a few wins here & there best of which was a Hitman Main.
Sheriff made a handsome £1,750, way above it's run rate, with @grinddd taking the top spot from a really tough FT.
@gobbleoff - The Notorious @gobbleoff - won Reload & was 4th in the Rebuy BH. The Reload win was his 2nd best score of the Month, beaten only by his 2nd place to @Super-Oli in Predator Main a few weeks back. His lifetime best score was last month when he ran 2nd in a Sunday Major.

A hit & miss night for MTT traffic, with 5 misses totalling £452 (7 @ 7 £119, Sheriff £200, 9 @ 9 £3, Turbo £10 & Quickdraw £120).
Our Main Event winner was @Slev23 who is something of a hit & miss player too, as in he plays (here) very infrequently, last night being just his 8th MTT in just over 2 months. Previous wins include Turbo, 7 @ 7 & Mega. Looking back at my comments after he won those, I wrote...

So it seems he's always been a player who comes & goes, & only plays as & when he fancies it. And bravo to him for that.
3rd was @froozle who later went on to register two wins, Sheriff & a £300 BH, & in 4th place was @tai-gar
The Mini fell to @FckwivKatz who has twice won the Rebuy BH in the last month or two.
Playing his first session for 10 days & only second session in almost a month, @__Assassin played 4 MTT's & did very nicely, winning the £800 BH & finishing 2nd in a £300 BH.
@BossAwig only plays the £800 BH &/or 7 @ 7 most nights & it seems to serve him well. His last 3 MTT's (Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday) were all in 7 @ 7 with finishing positions of 10th, 5th & 1st, which is most impressive.
@dryiceja27 is very much an early evening player, including the 19.18 PLO8, & captured last night's Rebuy BH. 3rd was @pokerbum64 who won it on Friday & ran deep (16th) on Thursday.
Since winning Mega on 19th March @gogogadget has faced a few headwinds but he returned to form last night & won it again.
Around 10 days ago after @fulldozer won Hitman Main I described the player as a male, but it turned out to be a young lady so I duly apologized. Anyway, she won 9 @ 9 last night, so well done her. Got it right this time.
Reload went to @Hickie1985 & somewhat oddly, the only previous thread mentions I can find were all for the Rewards Freeroll.
@multiplx must be keen, as after winning MidEx he played Tourneys at 0315, 0630, 0645, 0700, 0715 & 0745, (correct as at time of writing) & in fact won that 7am affair.
Big Boy Watch largely consisted of @Froozle (Sheriff) & @Natnug (Quickdraw).
@ScottMo1 is becoming something of a Turbo specialist, winning it last night for the 3rd time this year. Other '25 wins include Sheriff & Reload.
The Las Vegas Elim Freeroll went to @LIAM92446 but no matter how many Head Prizes he accumulates this week he won't win the Vegas package this week as he already won one in last week's Week 3 version. There must be a knack to playing Freerolls.
Rather sadly, for the 2nd straight night, the SPT Glasgow satellite never gathered sufficient entries to run.
