She had travelled to the US on a Tourist Visa. She then attempted to travel to Canada, again on a travel visa.
She had actually been working as an au pair in the US, and intended to do the same in Canada, having already entered into an arrangement with a Canadian family.
It was Canada that spotted it. Denied her entry, and told the US, who promptly arrested her for immigration offences.
No sympathy. This has nothing to do with Trump. And everything to do with someone seeking to work in a foreign country while lying about it.
Can you imagine what they have gone through ! and worse for the usa, the socials are going ballistic as these ladies have big networks.
USA tourism is gonna crash.

I'm sure the Orange Man is a factor. But so are a lot of other things:-
Global recession
Cost of flights
Cost of hotel rooms, and the rip off that is resort fees
There used to be lots of enticing offers to get people into casinos: cut-price food and the like. That's all gone
Poker is not the draw it once was. Several casinos have closed their poker rooms.
In short, it is a more expensive holiday than it used to be. And has gone up in price more than alternatives.
