Well for starters, it's not 10 years, it's 13. Time flies when we are having fun, eh?
First up, I've moved this thread from "Chat with Channing" to "Poker Chat". Mr Channing @NChanning may be less diplomatic than I am, so I've done you a favour already.
Last time you started a thread here you claimed to have lost a "80% - 30%" hand & blamed Sky Poker. Am still trying to figure what a 80% - 30% shot is.
Listen. I'm gonna try & help you. If you listen to me, here's what should happen.
1) You'll lose less money.
2) You'll become a better player.
3) You'll enjoy your poker more.
4) You won't make a fool of yourself by starting silly threads like this. Even the thread title makes no sense.
You ran 2nd in the Rewards Freeroll & won £60. You play it every night, & rarely do well, so you can congratulate yourself. You probably got lucky along the way, & will not have noticed that - most of us only recognize BAD luck & are blind to good fortune. That's called cognitive bias, & many of us suffer from it. But well done.
What happened next though?
Well, having played 23,649 games here at an Average Buy-In of £1.10..... you then sat at a £10 + £1 Heads Up table with a fella called @johnmonty. He's played 466,111 games here at an ABI of £8.35. He's not the best player on the site, far from it, but he's a big ugly Scottish bloke who eats people like you & me at the poker table for breakfast. He's way too good for the likes of you & me to take on Heads Up. In Heads Up poker we can't hide. The best player ALWAYS wins in the long run. Play him 100 times Heads Up & we might win 5.
Then you played a £10 Turbo DYM with the likes of @TimmyRaRa & @johnmonty. We've already discussed @johmonty, & @TimmyRaRa has played almost a quarter of a million games here & won well into 6 figures. I mean really, you can't beat these guys. You finished 6th in that.
Now things got worse, as you played a £15 Heads Up affair against a fella who has made over a quarter of a million £££'s here playing Heads Up games. People like you & me have zero chance against guys like him, they are different class.
And then you blame Sky Poker for losing your money, & suggest they are corrupt. When the truth is you lost because of poor table selection.
If I could sit down with you for an hour I could teach you the essentials - such as TABLE SELECTION - & you'd then a) lose less money & b) not get upset & c) not make threads like this or that 80%-30% thread & make a fool of yourself.
Seriously man, instead of blaming others, look at yourself. That's where the problem is. And you CAN sort it.
Go on, trust me, & try using better table selection.
They were probably drunk even so there was no need for the title of the thread Lets hope they take it all in can't beat constructive to the point advice , it's good for the soul

I've messed up so many times in my life, then been given some painful but honest truths by people who wanted to help me. It hurt like h ell, but if you can take it on board you end up a better person. If he listens to me, it won't happen again, he'll lose less money & enjoy his poker more.
Bad workmen, and all that. Going back to the old days, when Sky Poker was on the telly, one of the messages has always stuck with me. If you were the sixth worst poker player in the world, you could still make money, as long as you played against the five that were worse than you. Choosing to play against some of the better, and most profitable players, and then blame the site when you lose is a mugs game.
