"There were 1 or 2 very small bits of overlay last night, just pennies really, so a much better night than Wednesday. The £4,000 Main did very well, coming in just £20 shy of £5,000, and once again the £1,000 Quickdraw came in big, £1,840, that's the second time this week it's been £1,800 or higher.
@cabbaztook the Main, that's his third win in the last 4 nights, & he was AWOL on Tuesday, so in effect 3 wins in 3 nights - Monday's Sheriff, Wednesday's Turbo & last night's Main. He's won everything worth winning on Sky Poker, including 5 (FIVE) Sunday Majors. Was a tough old FT, following him home were @Drewett@Granite89@chkngeorge@reeler & @FAS. I watched an hour or so of the late stages and @Doubleme was Chippy for a while, & @HAYSIEwas up with the leaders too, the pair of them eventually finishing 9th & 15th respectively. My mind wandered at one stage & I mused on the prospect of those two getting heads up at the end. Not sure who would have won that mythical HU battle, but I fancy they'd have talked one another into eventual submission. At one stage @DoubleMe told @HAYSIE he'd won some bounties & so "winni was celebrating", but judging by the reply of @HAYSIEhe was not overly impressed.
In the Mini the unreadable unpronounceable & illegible @lIlldtgbht took 1st place. Not a vowel in sight, unless the 2nd letter is an "i", it's really hard to tell. 2nd was @bigfatfish with the low stakes end-boss @LittleGJ3rd. @LittleGJhas accumulated over £55,000 of profit at an ABI of around a fiver if we take Sharky numbers at face value. Yikes. Does well at cash games too. In yesterday's write-up I noted that @dazlidub04 enjoyed their first significant win by taking 1st place in the Mini, & he very nearly won it again last night, eventually finishing 5th.
A great start to the evening for @goldnballz who won the 6.30pm £1k BH & immediately followed up by taking the 7pm 7 @ 7. I mentioned earlier how well @LittleGJhad done, well Keith has done even better, £75,000 of profit at an ABI of £6.25, though I imagine @fredsgirlhas helped herself most of that. @goldnballz must be one of our most profitable Super Seniors I'd imagine, right up there with @HAYSIE& @wynne1938
Sheriff went to @Froozle, with Friday's BWBH winner @Blaiseeein 2nd place. 3rd & 4th were the father & son combo of @StayOrGo & @Limp2Lose with Dad getting the better of the two this time.
It's weird how players who have been here for a while & never had a mention suddenly jump into prominence. @Whooster got his very first namecheck yesterday after winning MidEx - & he went & won it again last night. Well done Whooster.
The SPT Glasgow Semi never ran - it was 1 player short, but the Vegas Quarter went ahead as usual, with Semi Final seats going to @Byteme@carravagio & @ILIKE2FISH though the last-named was a dupe so still only 10 entrants for Sunday's Semi which has 8 seats guaranteed. Proper value there.
That's it, sorry I'm late, am a bit all over the shop today."
For the 2nd straight night 9 of the Featured Events missed guarantees, though at £1,043 it was half of Tuesday's total, so there's that. Half of it came from the Main (£250) & Mini (£280), the rest was spread around quite evenly really, £800 BH (£35), 7 @ 7 (£98), Mega (£20), Sheriff (£100), Turbo (£40), Quickdraw (£120) & MidEx £100. I'm guessing it will stay like this until Transition is complete, folks don't like uncertainty.
It was a tough Main FT with the highly-rated (94) @PokaBayb9 fending off some very good opponents. That was the only MTT he played here last night, though I suspect that he, along with many others, were playing SCOOP events over at 'Stars. Incidentally, Patrick Leonard aka pads1161 won his 20th SCOOP title yesterday. Extraordinary.
Back to last night's Main here, FT placees included @ChipDiddy0 &@blablabla both of whom are quite handy, & @Arrogant who some might describe as competent.
A very odd thing arose in the Mini, which went to No Vowel Bloke @lIlldtgbhtwho also won the Mini this day last year. What are the chances of that? In fact he MAY have a vowel in his alias, perhaps the 2nd letter is an "i" but it's hard to tell. What happened to aliases like @BertSmith?
Chief Chatbox Troll @ChipDiddy0might have expected to win Sheriff but @terrier922 who Sharky rate 30 points inferior was not to be denied. Mainly a Cash Game player really but clearly decent at MTT's too. @ChipDiddy0 won't starve though, from just 5 MTT's played here he was 2nd in Sheriff, 3rd in Turbo & 5th in Main. I daresay he was SCOOP-ing too.
Sharky seem to have a very modest opinion of @Ashmoree but he had quite a night, starting with a 90 minute 5 Streak at the £5 Turbo DYM tables & then taking the £800 BH by way of an encore. This is their maiden name check in the Results Thread though veery low volume & only joined us last Autumn.
We had not seen @seanyb7727 this month until he showed up last night & snap won 7 @ 7. That's at least his second 7 @ 7 victory, has won a 9 @ 9 too.
@TwoAnchors who used to give huge amusement to Richard Orford when he was in one of his childish moods took last night's £1k Rebuy BH. Splits his play roughly 50-50 between Cash & MTT's & is a really decent chap despite that slightly iffy alias.
@Drewett& @hhammerheaboth of whom you know all about took Mega & 9 @ 9 respectively. @Drewettis one of an elite group of players who have won 4 Sunday Majors, whilst @hhammerheahas won Reload 17,823 times, or so it seems. How do they win these things so often? It's Like That I guess.

The toughest Turbo in many a moon went to @TIMBER who had to beat the likes of @Jscorgie @ChipDiddy0 @snoxx11 @Fabraclass & @Natnug. Final Tables of 29 runner £30 events don't come any tougher than that.

Mostly a 1-tabler, @Headman555 did exactly that last night & won Reload. In 4th place with great timing was @Rolexdaman who might be one to watch.
I assume @Wheelygud1 is supposed to be pronounced with a "rolled r" but he certainly rolled to a fine 1st place in Quickdraw.
@Bawbaggio plays MidEx every night - or morning actually - & won it again last night. Or this morning. Whatever.
That's it for today.
