Good afternoon.
The Live Update will start in a few hours time.
In a change to the usual routine, there was a Turbo Flight at 11am this morning, meaning the Day 2 started at 2.30pm, not 1pm as usual.
That in turn means we can expect a very late finish, 3am very possible.
My interest in the Tourney ended in 38th place (35 paid) when I ran As-QS into Aces, just one of those things. That left me 6BB & I found 9-9 next hand, got looked up by A-J, negotiated flop & turn safely but he got there in the end. Prior to those two misfortunes I'd run really well so I can't complain.
I'm going to have a bit of a nap then I'll go back & do the Live Update starting early evening.
In the anti-climax of all time, & on my very last Live Update, technical problems have thwarted us.
Just spent 90 minutes at the Casino trying to hook my Laptop up to the Wi-Fi but no-can-do. It works fine back at my hotel, but not at the Casino.
Nothing I can do, I'm sorry.
I can tell you that;
@Natnug & @PKRPar both just busted.
There are 16 left.
@NChanning who was on fumes earlier just doubled with A-K v 9-9, after hitting his K on the Turn. Could not get a count but he is comfortable now.
@Sky__James is in great shape, best part of a million, & must be right up with the leaders.
And that, as they say, is all she wrote.
Very disappointing, but nothing I can do. I'll maybe go back in an hour or two & try again, but I'm not optimistic.
Just had a WhatsApp message that @Sky__James departed in 11th when his Q-Q failed to hold on against 9-10 suited.
