My wife and I have been playing on sky poker for 4/5 years, like most people we did not know what we were doing when we first started and regularly played sit and go’s together. Then sky very polity asked us to refrain from playing theses type of games at the same time for fear of collusion, so we stopped playing theses tables together and have not done so to date but do play the odd MTT with each other, where we were often drawn together on the same table which we were thought would be ok.
I qualified for the Blackpool SPT which was very enjoyable so have been trying for the Newcastle SPT my wife would also like to play so I asked customer care if we can play in the same satellite and or the semi final together we were told by Gemma from customer care that we were not to play in the same game together, I sent back does this mean any MTT or just the SPT and was told any game as we were not allowed play on the same table, I also contacted live chat who again told me we can’t play in the same MTT but told me to contact help@sky.com if I wanted further advice which I did, here is their reply which I thought slightly incorrect as we have not been recently contacted and I thought the e-mail was a little bit aggressive and not happy with its undertone but we have our answer (I think, as usual with sky it’s not a yes or no answer)) here is my Email to sky :

There is a big difference between DYM's & MTT's in this respect, & AFAIK, they are treated differently.
As Jon sugests, I was a little confused by the reply they had from Customer Care, & so have written to Suit-City for clarification. As soon as I am favoured with a reply, I'll Post it on the Community.
Probably wisest not to speculate further until we get that reply. Be assured, I WILL get a clear line for you.
Thanks.
This, I assume, gives you permission to both play in the same MTT and on the same table in the MTT as long as no suspicion of collusion.
Therefore carry on playing MTT's together.
Steve
he was on my sofa on his laptop i was on the pc at other end of the room suddenly pop hes on same table. As we had a last longer i summonded his lapyop to my bedroom.
They can't prohibit on just an ip address as anybody using your router has that address, I for one am a member of BT FON which allows registered users of BT to use my wireless if in range.
What if you were on a hotel network? There could be several Sky Poker players in that hotel, or how about playing at work where around 3000 people could be on the same ip address
Friends can just as easily collude using text message and MSN messenger so I say keep on playing MTTs, we do avoid STT.
