I play on the site every night a mixture of cash and tournaments, yet I always struggle to get to or just over the 500 points in a month to get the £5.

How on earth do you recomemd playying inorder to get to 1000 plus points ?

I get there playing dyms. find a level u can win 2 out of 3, and you make a small profit and rack up the points. The small profit pays for entries into sats or tounies u like playing

If your comp can only handle 2 tables, the only way is to dramatically increase your stakes, play a lot more, or buy a new pc, or just wait for the download version

unfortunetly its not based on how you do, also well done.

    but rake is the key.

so if your struggling HU cash ftw

The amount of points is based on the rake in cash games as Don says, and as a % of your buy in in tournaments.  If you enter a deepstack for £2.20 that lasts fro 4 hours you will still only get 2 poker points no matter how high you cash or how long you are playing.  If you enter a £2.25 DYM you get 3 poker points for a tournament that generally lasts about 1/2 hour.

If you want to rack up points, short tournaments and cash games are the way to go
