    Very standard sporny!

He had a draw, and fold equity a huge stack, got his money in first, and got there - he had 2 ways to win, fair play to him. But ul still, run better.

    -----------------------------------------

Btw, Alex Hammonds tip of the day is a horse called "Lucy's Perfect" racing @ 2.20.

If you see the little nutcase let her know ! ;)

    No !

I finished uni 18 months ago and started playing alot of poker.

Don't play so much now, but make enough to keep the fridge full of beer.

I said at the start of the year if I don't make 25k this year I will go down the jobcentre in Jan 2012. I wasn't far off last year, but have a longggggggggggg way to go yet.

12k on Lucy's Perfect in the 2.20 @ exeter could do it.

Find a job that suits your qualifications and play as a recreational player - you know it makes sense.

A mediocre civil servant will earn £30k, a skilled worker will earn £40k and even a train driver will earn £45k. Top it up with some poker and have a life.

Yeh I'm nowhere near good enough at the mo to play for a living.

I'm just enjoying the easy life while I have a choice, I only had a gr8 year last year because the standard is so terrible, not coz I'm good or anything.

That's changing, and soon it will be really tough on here even at low stakes (no matter what MM tells u) - When that happens unless I'm alot better than I am now I wont be able to win enough.

At the moment despite taking from it every month to live, my bankroll is still growing.

I reckon a month in a 9-5 job and I'd be more than happy to quit and play poker 10 hours a day !!!

I've gotta get better first though, I can't seem to improve to the next level. 8 months to do it!!!

I kind of like the philosophy that If you have nothing to risk, (i.e kids/property/wiff) why not risk everything?

In the future there'll be so many things to hold your ambition back.  Why not take all your disposable income and see where it takes you, rather than wonder what might habe been.

I withdrew a fair amount from here last week, as I was stupid drunk and knew i'd lose it playing drunk.  Then suffered 3 uber BB's this morning.  I didnt feel it was the software punishing me or fixed, just felt like I kind of played the hands bad, other than 1.

I didnt realise the level of disipline needed to win overall until recently, I dont think many people do.  Its painful to the point where it does take enjoyment out of the game.
