  found a couple i like the look of, which one is better or is there not much difference,

  Just make sure it is 1920 x 1080 and get a decent brand. 
  
  LG or Samsung like AcidMan27 says or many other good brands out there Acer, Iiyama, Viewsonic, Dell.
  
  You should be able to get a 23" or 24" 1920 x 1080 for under £150 locally (Even Comet has them for under £150).

  Get yourself off to Staples or any other office supplies shop for your chair. That way you can try various ones out to see which you prefer.
  
  Monitors then i'd always recommend Samsung and LG for that price region.

  Dell make superb monitors.
