Newcastle 11/8 to finish in the top 6 !  screams value for me.   thoughts?

    Liverpool are the only challengers in my opinion aand the big game is 2 weeks time when they play each other. Both have what looks on paper fairly straight forward run ins however Liverpool have Chelsea on last day and they may well be playing for a Top 4 finish.

    Not bad value but Prem league results are so erratic. look at QPR v Liverpool on Wednesday.

    also Liverpool might be still involved in cup , so Newcastle look good at those odds

    As said above,  Liverpool are the real challengers, but they are still involved in the cup.  Also Newcastle play Liverpool at SJ James' and can't really see liverpool winning there.
    Not only this, but Totenham's form is shocking at the moment, and have some tough games coming up,  e.g Chelsea away tomorow.  Them or Chelsea (if they lose to Totenham) could easily drop below Newcastle.
    Pardew has also said Newcastle's aim is to qualify for europe !  so will be playing full strength squad for every game, and they have goals in them with Ba, Cisse and BenArfa.

    8 points clear now with 8 games to go, if Newcastle avoid defeat against Liverpool next weekend then the bet is virtually in the bag. wp.

    It was 33-1 for top 4 finish.  Nearly put £10 on it .  but thought "thats probably just a waste of a tenna" .
