Chat from mini view

This has been on-going for a while now. 

Basically, when I have been playing on mini view for a while, and switch back to standard view, the chat struggles to update. Switching back and forth between mini and standard will slowly refresh and add in the missing chat but it takes ages and is not always successful.  Is this a common issue amongst players?
