Thinking of upgrading to a new laptop.

Probs going to get an Intel i5 processor but am torn between Windows 7 or 8.

Was wondering what people's views of windows 8 were.

Never used 8 but most hate it.
The only thing I will say is 8.1 is beta testing due out in the autumn.It is supposed to address a lot of the problems people are having and it is a free update for existing 8 users.Might be worth waiting to see.

One more thing I would add is make sure you get the new 4th gen i5.Not much of a performance increase over 3rd but uses less power if you have your heart set on a laptop.
